We travel back a little to the time when Dong-Soo and Woo-Young go out of their house. Unknown to them, they are being closely watched by someone. After they go inside the elevator, the culprit shows herself. She’s the ahjumma, creeping silently in front of Dong-Soo’s house to put an envelope (the one that Su-Young took in the last episode) under the door before leaving.

Episode 13 : A Very Close Tag Up

*[tag up: to remain on the base until the flying ball is first touched by a fielder and the advance to the next base. generally means to wait until something is completed before starting something new.]

Su-Young is shocked to find the picture with Jong-Hee’s eyes poked out and rushes out to find who sent the picture. She’s one step behind and decides not to chase the culprit. She locks her door and rips the picture before throwing it away. Su-Young calls Jong-Hee to check on her, but Eun-Jae is the one who answers the phone, telling her that Jong-Hee is still sleeping after spending her whole night painting. She’s relieved to hear that Jong-Hee is unharmed and tells Eun-Jae to take care of her. Su-Young hides the ripped picture beneath other trash inside the bin to prevent anyone from seeing it.

At Jong-Hee’s house, Mu-Yeol is looking at two men setting up CCTV camera in front of the house with Dong-Soo. He chides Eun-Jae when she keeps coming in and out of the house. She asks the camera guy whether they have any small cameras like hidden cameras to trap the culprit. She tries to demonstrate how the bad guy would be caught but knocks herself to the portable stairs. Ouch!

As smitten as he is, Mu-Yeol starts to nag to Eun-Jae while massaging her swollen forehead (so cute!). Dong-Soo senses that he’s behaving quite differently from usual. Eun-Jae feels uncomfortable with his attention and immediately goes into the house. Mu-Yeol smiles at himself and Dong-Soo gives him an analyzing glance.

At Mu-Yeol’s house, Dong-Soo is installing the CCTV software on the computer as the ahjumma approaches him to serve the drinks. He tells her about the CCTV installed in front of Jong-Hee’s house, bringing shock to the stalker. Mu-Yeol takes a look at the installed software and sees Eun-Jae playing in front of the camera. He laughs at her silliness and calls her. He responds to her like a lover should (while being so adorable) and Dong-Soo gives him a puzzled look. Mu-Yeol asks him what’s wrong. He asks Mu-Yeol about his feelings to Eun-Jae and Mu-Yeol immediately ends his call, leaving Eun-Jae frustrated on the other side.

Mu-Yeol at first hesitates, but soon admits it indirectly.

Mu-Yeol: How did you know?

Dong-Soo: It’s written on your face. With big letters.

Mu-Yeol: (while touching his face) Is is that obvious?

Dong-Soo: Very obvious.

He himself doesn’t  know when he started to like Eun-Jae and hesitates on how to tell Jong-Hee about it, but Dong-Soo is more concerned about people seeing him as two-timer. He advises him to resolve the matter quickly before Jong-Hee finds out about it herself. They proceed to the dining table and Dong-Soo muses about Mu-Yeol’s transparent self. Unknown to them, the ahjumma looks at them with that creepy stare again.

Reporter Go and Manager Kim meet up at a posh restaurant, where Reporter Go begins to tell about his investigation progress. He concludes that the stalker might contacted Yoon-Yi as his grandmother, who’s always warm to her guests, suddenly changed and rejected his ‘sincere’ bread. Manager Kim thinks the stalker knows about their movement and tries to cut the strings leading to himself. They are interrupted by Dong-Ah’s arrival, invited by Reporter Go. She still maintains her cheerful attitude and reacts indifferently towards Manager Kim.

They resume their discussion, with Manager Kim stealing glances towards the normal-looking Dong-Ah. They conclude that the stalker’s target isn’t Mu-Yeol; it’s his career. Reporter Go asks Dong-Ah her opinion, and the girl lifts her face from the jajangmyun; tears streaming down her cheeks.

Both men are surprised to see her suddenly crying. She starts blabbering aimlessly and ignores Manager Kim. She tries to leave but Manager Kim stops her, asking what is disturbing her to make herself so scared like that. Between her sobs, Dong-Ah tells him the truth: she’s scared that Manager Kim is angry at her. Awwww. He hugs her and apologizes while admitting that he’s also afraid  if he can’t handle her well. They continue their own drama, and Reporter Go sits there awkwardly before deciding to start eating. Ha. I can’t choose whether to cry or to laugh.

Jong-Hee is still painting her heart out although it’s probably near midnight. Eun-Jae peeks through the narrow opening of the door and tells her she’s going back. She goes inside the elevator and starts fixing her messy hair, right before the elevator stops at another level for Mu-Yeol. Yeay! She keeps fixing her hair but unfortunately, she can’t see the back part and leaves it sticking up. Haha. Mu-Yeol laughs at her and pulls her into a hug to fix her hair. So adorable. She pulls away when he cups her face in his hands. Sensing the awkward air between them, he pushes her out of the elevator. Mu-Yeol reminds himself to tag up first, but later smiles to himself.

Dong-Soo returns home and greets his family cheerfully. While he’s paying attention to his son, Su-Young steals a glance towards the bin where she threw Jong-Hee’s picture earlier. At the same time, Yoon-Yi is also thinking about the stalker and looks at Mu-Yeol’s picture. He starts to recollect what Reporter Go said to him. He also remembered about the ahjumma who came to meet his grandmother before that. He then asks about the ahjumma to his grandma and she confirms that she’s working at an athlete’s house.Looks like someone finally knows a clue about the stalker!

Remember Hyun-Woo, the guy who has a crush towards Eun-Jae? He’s probably missing her a lot as he suddenly asks about Mu-Yeol’s bodyguard change. Mu-Yeol gives him the dissatisfied look (I love this one!) and when Hyun-Woo wants to know about Eun-Jae’s men taste, he directly says that she won’t like him. Instead, he tells him her taste: a tall man with big eyes and fair skin, which are basically description about Mu-Yeol’s self. Haha. Poor Hyun-Woo, he even grows a beard! Maybe to be at par with the gruff Mu-Yeol back then.

On his way home, Mu-Yeol meets Eun-Jae, who’s crossing the road right in front of his car. He decides to give her a ride, much to her surprise. He even chases Kevin to sit at the back (LOL poor boss!) to give the seat beside him to Eun-Jae. He suddenly starts asking about what type of man does she likes (after some beating around the bush about Jong-Hee). Her answer: 1) A man without any baggage (i.e no past relationships or past love) and 2) If he did have those baggage, make sure she won’t find out about it, even if he has to lie. Mu-Yeol is definitely not included in any of them, so he starts demanding why she wants a man like that. He sighs and leaves after making sure she enters her house safely.

Eun-Jae is still in a cold war with her father after the incident and refuses to have a talk with him. Chang-Ho goes into her room and slowly brings up the subject. He freely admits that he doesn’t even their mother’s face; the things he remember from that time were only about her big suitcase and Eun-Jae hitting his back. He doesn’t care for other things, as long as their father is happy, he’ll be happy. Awww. Eun-Jae releases her anger on her pillow before she sleeps.

The next day, a poster about Jong-Hee’s solo exhibition is up over at the school where Su-Young teaches. She stops in front of the notice board and keeps looking at the poster. Eun-Jae is working as usual, being a bodyguard over at Jong-Hee’s place. She’s wondering why Jong-Hee keeps staring outside and she’s actually looking at a kitten. Jong-Hee asks whether it’s cold outside and decides to go on a date with Mu-Yeol. The man is not that happy and holds onto his necklace.

He dresses up a bit and leaves Eun-Jae ogling at him when he enters Jong-Hee’s house. Mu-Yeol tells Eun-Jae not to follow him to their date (probably to prevent her from getting any heartache). They go to the place where they painted together, but the painting is now gone. As they have their meals at a posh restaurant, Eun-Jae is alone, eating some ramyun at Jong-Hee’s house.

The dessert is served and Jong-Hee enjoys the ice cream very much while Mu-Yeol is bracing himself to drop the bomb. He looks at her intently and calls her name with a shaky voice.

Mu-Yeol: If I had to choose whether I liked you or not, I’d say that I still liked you. From now on, I don’t know if I’ll meet another woman that I’ll like more, but…But for me to like you as much as I did back then…that will be a little difficult.

Mu-Yeol: Even if the world changes, I thought that my feelings for you wouldn’t change. Even if we both meet another person and got married to them, if the feelings and the world change, it’d be sad. What I’m trying to say is… that might have been why I was so obsessed with you; so that I won’t forget you. I don’t like that my feelings are changing. I don’t want to accept that it’s changing. For a long time, I missed you. But for us, I think that was all.

He apologizes for not being able to accept her proposal. Silence dawns between them before she decides to leave in a huff. Mu-Yeol wants to take her home, but she refuses to be near him. She tells him to call Eun-Jae over. Eun-Jae arrives there and Jong-Hee leaves with her. Jong-Hee doesn’t say a word about what happened and completely ignores Eun-Jae. She goes straight into her room as soon as they reach her home.

Mu-Yeol calls Eun-Jae to ask about Jong-Hee. He doesn’t tell her anything and asks for her help to stay back at the house for the day. He promises to tell her next time. Alone in his room, he keeps pondering about it and finally takes off the necklace bearing the ring. Mu-Yeol puts it inside the drawer for good, and the scene changes to show the painting on the removed wall. His engraved words to Jong-Hee on it is now ruined and  the wall is put in an abandoned place.

Eun-Jae wakes up from her sleep on the couch and she panics when she can’t find Jong-Hee in her room. She is beyond relieved to find her painting inside the other room. Mu-Yeol is working out at the gym, but more into chasing his own insecurities about the break up. Dong-Soo comes over to ask about his progress and mu-Yeol decides it’s too early for him to pursue Eun-Jae. Reporter Go is also there and he wonders why Dong-Soo didn’t become a teacher because he has the qualities of being one. Dong-Soo asks him the reason he started playing baseball, in which he replies it’s all because of the cool-looking outfits. So childish.Dong-Soo opens up about his father, who’s the person responsible in making him a baseball player. I love the little guys chats they always have.

Later, Su-Young drops by to visit Jong-Hee as she didn’t answer her and her mother’s call. She tries to persuade her into checking her paintings and take a look at the gallery for her exhibition. Jong-Hee takes out the exhibition booklet and hands it to Su-Young, telling her to check them for her. She gets angry when Su-Young tries to persuade her more and complains that everyone’s changed, including Su-Young herself. After Jong-Hee leaves the room, Su-Young picks up the booklet and looks at it, her eyes piercing through the pages.

On her way out of the apartment building, Su-Young runs into the housekeeper ahjumma, but she doesn’t notice the ahjumma. She goes to her mother’s gallery, where Jong-Hee’s exhibition is going to be held. Her mother is surprised (or is that disgusted/disapproving/dissatisfied look on her face?) to see her coming in Jong-Hee’s place to check the paintings that have just arrived. Su-Young checks them one by one and despite her condition, she still acts like she’s all healthy.

As Jong-Hee is getting her nap (or pretty excessive sleep), Su-Young looks sick and feverish. The gallery assistant sees blood trickling down her legs and reluctantly informs her about that. Poor Su-Young…

The next thing we know, Dong-Soo is at the hospital to check on Su-Young’s condition. She’s lying unconsciously with her mother looking pitifully at her. She immediately lets go of her daughter’s hand when Dong-Soo enters the room. Her mother gives him the bad news: Su-Young miscarried the baby. Dong-Soo can’t believe it as she’s perfectly fine before this, but her mother knows that she’s keeping everything to herself until she’s stressed out while admitting that it’s probably because of her upbringing. She demands to know why he can’t make her happy although she’s left home just to be with him before leaving. In the taxi, she cries alone thinking about her daughter.

Dong-Soo stays with his wife and when Su-Young wakes up, she sees him crying silently. He quickly hides his tears when he realizes she’s regaining her consciousness. The first word she says: sorry. He says it’s alright for him. He tells her not to keep things to herself and he’ll let her to do what she wants to do. She admits that she herself doesn’t know what exactly she wants to do.

Mu-Yeol also drops by to visit her. He doesn’t tell Jong-Hee yet about it, but Su-Young doesn’t want her to worry about her. He then returns home and the ahjumma wants to know about Su-Young’s current condition. He feels that Dong-Soo is much more stressed than Su-Young, but the ahjumma says it’s normal when someone you love is hurt. And she starts telling him about the sweet feeling of watching your loved ones get hurt: if the person gets hurt bad enough, then you’ll be able to show how much you love him. Ewwww..that’s not a bit healthy. She decides to leave when Mu-Yeol starts asking her about who she loved so much like that. He’s so  going to be surprised after knowing that the person is he himself. Ha..

Dong-Soo takes good care of his wife and stays beside her all night long. The next day, the neighbors are flocking in front of Jong-Hee’s house, complaining about the loud classical music coming from inside. Eun-Jae is surprised to see them and apologizes for her before going in. She finds Jong-Hee crying alone and accuses her to be the cause of her break up with Mu-Yeol. Eun-Jae, still thinking the couple only fought, is not satisfied to be dragged into the matter.

She meets Mu-Yeol on her way out to the convenience store. Eun-Jae directly asks whether the two of them fought, because he didn’t call Jong-Hee even once. She starts nagging at them (like a love counselor LOL) but Mu-Yeol doesn’t say anything as Jong-Hee haven’t told her about their break up. He tells her to buy Jong-Hee some ice cream,but she pleads him to make up with his lover. The most adorable part is when Mu-Yeol wants to know what Eun-Jae would like to eat if her boyfriend wants to coax her.

Mu-Yeol: Korean Beef?

Eun-Jae: I like things like cake and ice cream too! I like flowers too! What do you…

Mu-Yeol: Beef over a cake, and pork over flowers, right?

Eun-Jae: That…yeah..(Laugh) What can you do with flowers?

Mu-Yeol: (Laugh) Food is better, right?

She realizes that they are being too comfortable and covers her eyes while asking him for the ice cream money. Although Mu-Yeol warns her not to tell Jong-Hee about him buying the ice cream, Eun-Jae tells her. Jong-Hee knows it’s Eun-Jae who picked the ice cream as Mu-Yeol won’t choose strawberry, the flavor that she hates. Eun-Jae wants to take it back, but Jong-Hee doesn’t mind at all and invites her to eat the ice cream together. She complains about the ‘invitation’ but still sits with her. They have a girls talk over the ice cream, in which Jong-Hee admits about the break up. She thinks if she hadn’t came back, Mu-Yeol might not be able to get over her.

Su-Young is getting discharged and Dong-Soo fetches her. The banners promoting Jong-Hee’s exhibition are lining up the road on the lamp posts and her expression changes upon seeing them. As they arrives home, Woo-Young is happy to have his mum back in the house and she can’t help but agree to her son’s wish to be with her.

As Eun-Jae leaves Jong-Hee’s house for the day, Mu-Yeol looks through the CCTV to watch over her as she walks out of the house. She decides to go to Dong-Ah’s room and finds her friend working on something. She throws a question at her: does a person becomes lovely because she’s loved, or she’s loved because she’s lovely? She’s referring to Jong-Hee, who’s a lovely woman that she can never beat. Eun-Jae admits that she’d fall in love with her too if she’s a man.

Dong-Ah shows her a daring stunt, i.e. showing Eun-Jae her shoulder to see whether her taste has changed (you know what I mean?) and Eun-Jae’s reply is just hilarious:

“I want to put you down on the floor….and then strangle you.”

Haha! Dong-Ah’s reaction is priceless! Eun-Jae sighs over her suspicions and wonders whether Manager Kim knows her true colors. She has her own view: identity is more important than one’s true self in love. For instance, she’ll remember Manager Kim each time she takes a look at stainless steel because his identity is cold like those steel to her.

Dong-Ah calls Manager kim, who’s reading a book about relationship. Heee~ She wants to know what reminds him of her. He doesn’t have any, but he suddenly remembers his trip to a video rental shop where the porn videos reminded him of her. Hahaha! She’s ecstatic to find out that he’s also a fan of porn videos and he stammers, saying that he just looked at the title. She starts to list her favorite (porn) movies while Manager Kim is sweating bullets. LOL at Robot! They talk with each other for quite a long time.

While Dong-Soo is bathing Woo-Young, Su-Young sees Woo-Young’s discarded drawing about his now-gone younger sibling. Her face falls at the sight of it and decides to go out to throw away the rubbish. She nearly breaks down upon looking at the drawing and throws it along with the others. She picks the ripped picture of Jong-Hee and reads again the sentence written behind: Who’s the bad one now????

She’s truly shaken when she return home, and Dong-Soo feels that something is wrong with her. She tries to control herself from crying but Dong-Soo is fast enough to see that she’s shaking. She’s crying badly and keeps uttering about being so scared. He hugs her and tries to make her calm, saying that everything is going to be okay.

And looks like Jong-Hee’s life isn’t going to get any better, as her paintings are all wrecked and damaged, with her portrait is ruined with a big “YOU” in red written on it.

First of all, deepest apology goes to anyone who is looking forward to this recap. Real life isn’t getting any better and I couldn’t find that much time to write this as soon as possible. Again, i apologize for the extremely late recap.

Back to the afterthoughts.

No matter what people say, I still think Su-Young is the most pitiful character in this drama. True, Jong-Hee might feel unhappy after being dumped by Mu-Yeol, but I think she’s a little bit rude to treat Su-Young like that. Su-Young isn’t that pleased to do all the things in Jong-Hee’s place and though Jong-Hee doesn’t mean it, it looks like she’s mocking Su-Young. Yeah, I’m a little emotional here and a bit biased, but imagine yourself being in her shoes. Even her mother isn’t that pleased to see her without a talent that can be compared to Jong-Hee. That isn’t the most pleasant thing to be heard, especially from her own mother. And the fact that she lost her child because of her excessive stress is just sad. No wonder she resents Jong-Hee a bit, even if she’s her best friend. I really don’t want to see her family being torn apart, so I hope she’s going to be all fine in the end. I love her family!

Who else cried a river during this scene? Me did! Hehehe..It’s really heartbreaking and sweet at the same time. Mr Robot is a hot stainless steel that can melt people’s heart! He’s finally opening up about his feelings, and so are Dong-Ah..I love this couple so much and I’m so glad to see them reconcile. And the phone call! Robot will be so in trouble to control the ‘wild’ Battery..Imagine them fighting over which porn movies to be watched! That would be hilarious. But I’m sure he’ll give in to her

Our main couple is not to be left behind!

As now Mu-Yeol has done his tag up, it’s time for them to put their feelings in the right track. Awww! They are so obvious of each other’s feelings, but trying their best to be oblivious. And the fact that both of them are crackheads and silly makes me all giddy, anticipating what will happen if they finally become lovers. That would surely be crazy! Both of you, please get together as soon as possible! I want to see Mu-Yeol trying to win Eun-Jae’s family recognition! So much anticipation from me ^^;

Oh yeah, this one needs to get off first: stalker ahjumma! Creepy~

Her name is already in the list of suspects..but why no one bothers to know more about her? Why?

Someone other than Yoon-Yi need to know about her..

Jong-Hee and Mu-Yeol wait outside the hospital room for Eun-Jae to come out, Jong-Hee looks a bit sad as she thinks back to how Eun-Jae was crying earlier and Mu-Yeol carried her. Mu-Yeol finally speaks and comments how Eun-Jae should have told him he was hurt. Jong-Hee asks if Eun-Jae cried  because she was hurt and her inference is if she cried because of Mu-Yeol. Being the true blockhead  that he is, Mu-Yeol says of course Eun-Jae cried because she got hurt.

Eun-Jae limps out and tells them that she has no broken bones. She mutters a complaint of how Mu-Yeol dragging her to the hospital is just troublesome because now she has to go back and forth. Mu-Yeol goes to support her and asks her if she cried because she was hurt, Eun-Jae said yes, it hurt a lot before and Mu-Yeol mouths to Jong-Hee that he was right. Aish, that blockhead.

Episode 12: Someone has noticed! Appeal Play.

Appeal play – if a player passes a base without touching it, the opponent must appeal it in order to call it an out. Even if a 100 people notice it, but the opponent doesn’t, it’s no use.

Mu-Yeol drops off Eun-Jae and Jong-Hee’s about to open her door to help Eun-Jae, but Mu-Yeol beats her to it. He gives her advice to prevent it from bruising. Eun-Jae still can’t look him in the eye and grumbles what does it matter if it bruises. So true, her heart’s already bruised, Blockhead Mu-Yeol! Anyways, she rushes him to leave stating that there could be trouble if her dad saw him.

Eun-Jae walks home to see Chang-Woo folding the laundry and he asks her to take her clothes in. Can I marry this guy? Look at the way he folds them all so neatly!!

Ahjussi stands out in the cold and watches his ex-wife tend the flowers. He musters up the courage to go in and asks the reason  why she abruptly ended things.

Mu-Yeol helps Jong-Hee carry her new art supplies in and is happy that she recovered so quickly. Mu-Yeol tells her that he would have sent her back to England if she was still sick, even if he had to force her and she would hate her forever. Because he would rather see her angry at him than hurt. Jong-Hee tells him to leave because she’s okay now, but he doesn’t want to. She wants him to because if he keeps treating her like a child, she’ll keep acting like one and they’ll just get tired of each other like last time. Yay, Jong-Hee is maturing! Mu-Yeol leaves, but not without telling her to keep the door locked until Eun-Jae comes.

In the morning, Dong-Ah plays with her pet and Eun-Jae wakes up  to find her Ahjussi and Chang-Woo cooking breakfast. I love how the guys in this family do the housework. Eun-Jae asks Ahjussi when he came home and he asks her if she met with the mom. Eun-Jae asks how he knew and if the mom called him; she tells him not to worry because she won’t ever see her again. That’s not what Ahjussi wanted to hear so he sighs dejectedly.

Eun-Jae walks out and starts conversing with Dong-Ah about Dong-Ah’s injuries and her resurrection. She asks if Tae-Han called yet and Dong-Ah says no. Eun-Jae advises her to call first, but she doesn’t want to. Eun-Jae thinks it’s because she wants Tae-Han to take the initiative, but that’s not it, she’s scared she’ll be attached to him and be hurt when he’s not there. Therefore, she should only get into the relationship when she’s ready. That’s also the reason why she only pets Gom, the dog, once a day. She stops petting Gom and smiles that she petted him too much this time, Eun-Jae knows that there’s still something wrong even though she’s smiling.

Eun-Jae meets with Tae-Han personally and he thinks she wants to talk about Jong-Hee, but she’s actually here to talk about Dong-Ah. He doesn’t seem too happy to be on that topic, but Eun-Jae thinks he misunderstood Dong-Ah. She knows that Dong-Ah jokes around in a serious situation, but it doesn’t mean she’s not serious about it. If she’s serious about it, it becomes too serious and…Eun-Jae can’t really explain it well. She decides to go straight to the point, is he not  going to make up with Dong-Ah? Tae-Han can’t handle her uniqueness anymore and although it was a good thing at first, he doesn’t like it how she kept laughing and talking away even though she was so close to dying.

Eun-Jae speaks up that Dong-Ah wasn’t excited about that situation, she was actually really terrified and she didn’t want to think about it anymore so she distracts herself and talks to a person near her. Tae-Han seems speechless. When Dong-Ah’s parents died suddenly, Dong-Ah did the same thing until she collapsed from exhaustion because if she didn’t, she would have gone crazy from grief. This is why she likes books more than real life because if it happens in books, it doesn’t matter. Mr. Robot uses the blockhead jerk combo move! He asks Eun-Jae what can he do? She should get treatment for that kind of trauma and gets up to walk away. It’s super effective as Eun-Jae sits there frustrated.

The housekeeper goes to Mu-Yeol’s apartment to work and while he’s showering, she breaks into his cellphone and looks at his contacts and messages. She flips through his diary and comes upon a sentence he wrote of whether he should send Jong-Hee back to England. She opens the door for Kevin and Mu-Yeol thought it was Jong-Hee. The housekeeper fixes his collar and asks if Jong-Hee’s okay and gives false sympathies. Mu-Yeol tells her that Jong-Hee recovered fast and finds Jong-Hee at the door with Eun-Jae.

Mu-Yeol keeps looking at Eun-Jae through the rear view mirror while he’s driving and he asks her if her leg is okay. Eun-Jae replies with yes and Jong-Hee offers her chocolate, but Kevin discourages Eun-Jae from taking one. Jong-Hee feeds one to Mu-Yeol as Eun-Jae watches this occur. Jong-Hee asks him where they are going and he replies to shop and eat plus he heard some fools wrote a book. As he says the last part, he eyes Eun-Jae with a smile.

They arrive at the mall and at the sight of the huge Seagulls posters, Eun-Jae starts smiling and slightly hyperventilating. The Seagulls are there for the signing of their book: ”Standing on the Mound.”  Jong-Hee tells him that she’ll go shopping and Mu-Yeol asks why? He tells them to go to the fan signing together and Eun-Jae encourages that because she wants to attend the fan signing too. Jong-Hee doesn’t want to because it’s not fun. It’s not going according to Mu-Yeol’s plan, but it turns out that way anyways as Eun-Jae tags Kevin in to bodyguard Jong-Hee.

The cameras are flashing rapidly as Mu-Yeol goes to greet and congratulate the players. He introduces Eun-Jae to them and she’s just giggly and happy. She hits Mu-Yeol in joy and Mu-Yeol smiles at her radiant expressions. Meanwhile, Jong-Hee is shopping.

As the Seagulls pitcher is signing something for her, Eun-Jae praises him.

Eun-Jae: You’re so cool.

Pitcher: Thank you.

Mu-Yeol’s thoughts: Where is he cool?

Eun-Jae: Everything about you is so cool!

Mu-Yeol’s thoughts: Aigoo.

Eun-Jae: Next year, we have to win.

Mu-Yeol’s thoughts: Impossible.

Haha! Karma.

The pitcher recognizes her as the Blue Seagull and she’s ecstatic that he remembers her. He offers to take a picture with her and she quickly drags Mu-Yeol in as the camera guy. She happily clings onto the pitcher as she does her cute pose. He purposely takes a bad picture and Eun-Jae tells him to take a second one just to make sure it looks good, but he refuses. He leaves and she has to follow; when she checks her phone, she gets sad over the terrible picture and tries pulling Mu-Yeol back there so she can get a better one. However, Mu-Yeol tugs her away like she’s a little kid as she complains.

Jong-Hee’s looking at running shoes and she sees the interaction between the two with Eun-Jae telling him that she did a cute pose not an ugly one like he said. Mu-Yeol pushes her head and tells her to get away from him in a playful way. She continues to flashback to the night of the whole fight and how Eun-Jae was shoving Mu-Yeol away as she walked.

Mu-Yeol scolds her for being distracted while being a bodyguard and Kevin takes it seriously and apologizes on her behalf. Mu-Yeol tries to stop him from apologizes and Jong-Hee observes this silently while she tries on the shoes. Jong-Hee tells Mu-Yeol to tie the shoelaces for her – wait, what happened to not acting like a child? I guess girl’s gotta protect what’s her. Eun-Jae tries not to care about how Mu-Yeol treats Jong-Hee like a lady.

When Eun-Jae and Jong-Hee get straight to Jong-Hee’s apartment, Jong-Hee becomes direct and asks how long Eun-Jae has liked Mu-Yeol and why she didn’t confess to him. She asks this banmal (informal speech) which means she likes Eun-Jae. Eun-Jae denies all this once she sees Jong-Hee’s ring and pretends to be ignorant. Jong-Hee tells her to leave it then because if she doesn’t confess, it means she doesn’t like him that much.

Jong-Hee leaves for her art room and Eun-Jae gets up to leave. Before she does, she straightens Jong-Hee’s shoes (a sign that Eun-Jae likes her as well) and comments about what does she know and why Jong-Hee spoke to her informally even though Jong-Hee is younger than her. In her art room, Jong-Hee starts painting with a blank stare on her face.

Reporter Go and Tae-Han go to the bar that Yoon-Yi works at because they should try getting some information one more time even if Tae-Han decides to stop doing this. At the bar, the madam talks about Dong-Ah and how she was weird from the start. She’s annoyed that Dong-Ah didn’t call in to tell them she wasn’t coming. Yoon-Yi plays the good boy and defends Dong-Ah, saying she must have a reason. The madam dotes on Yoon-Yi and leaves. Reporter Go and Tae-Han sit down at the bar and Tae-Han starts with a bit of anger in his expression.

Yoon-Yi denies knowing anything and Reporter Go plays along with him and asks him there must be someone around him connected Mu-Yeol even if he never met Jong-Hee or seen the pictures of the eyes being stabbed out. Reporter Go tries to convince Yoon-Yi to figure it out while Tae-Han stays silent. Reporter Go says Yoon-Yi will have no harm to him, but Yoon-Yi counters that there’s no benefit either. Reporter Go switches to threatening Yoon-Yi with the recording of the bar room incident, but Yoon-Yi doesn’t believe that he has the file. Yoon-Yi asks them to leave because he’s much busier now that the lady in the kitchen quit. This does it for Tae-Han and he gets up to slap Yoon-Yi with the pink gloves. Ooh, it’s a duel!

Tae-Han: It’s war. You, terrible guy.

Reporter Go prevents Tae-Han from doing anything more.

Tae-Han: Is that all you have to say to that woman? She quit suddenly?! Do you know how much you scared her?! Because of you, that woman -

Reporter Go drags him away from the bar. Mr. Robot does have a heart and wow did he raise his voice! Reporter Go, you should have a recording of this moment.

Madam asks what happened, but Yoon-Yi doesn’t tell her, instead, he broods angrily. Reporter Go is a bit disappointed in the way Tae-Han acted because they needed Yoon-Yi’s cooperation. Tae-Han apologizes and Reporter Go uses his sleuthing skills to deduce that the woman he was referring to was Dong-Ah. Tae-Han doesn’t respond and tries to keep himself from overheating.

Su-Young and her mom are going to visit Jong-Hee and Su-Young tells her there’s no point. She also asks why her mom changed her classes. The mom said the director changed it which is the same thing. She’s trying to make it easier for Su-Young and there still seems to be some disappointment left in her mother for her quitting art.

Jong-Hee’s in her room drawing eyes all over the canvas and she has this face that is devoid of any emotions. After sketching them, she starts painting. Eun-Jae greets Su-Young and Su-Young’s mother at the door. Su-Young is surprised Jong-Hee’s drawing again after her proclamation that she wasn’t. The mother says she can’t just quit like that with her talent. The mother takes one look at Jong-Hee’s drawing and knows something is wrong. She tells Su-Young to take note of it. The mother wants to display Jong-Hee’s art that hasn’t been seen in public and Su-Young listens to all this dejectedly. She tells them that she has class and leaves. Her mother is disapproving as she leaves.

Su-Young gets into the elevator, but she can’t contain her exhaustion anymore and gets dizzy. Fortunately…or unfortunately, the housekeeper was on her way to throw out trash so she helps support Su-Young. The housekeeper takes her to Mu-Yeol’s apartment and gives her some water, she starts saying things that strike Su-Young right in the heart. She knows how Su-Young feels, how she wants to blame someone for making her feel hurt when she’s the most wronged one and how it feels to have no one to tell her troubles to. As she says this, Su-Young breaks down into tears and the housekeeper pulls her into a hug with a face that lacks sympathy at all. Kudos to her for trying to reel another into the darkside.

Jong-Hee is still painting her creepy artwork full of eyes as Eun-Jae starts doing sit-ups. She gets a call from her dad who wants her to meet someone tomorrow and Eun-Jae’s excited that she’ll meet her dad’s girlfriend. Jong-Hee runs out of the room and randomly bites Eun-Jae, telling her they should have a party. She calls up Mu-Yeol so the three of them can go grocery shopping and at the store, she tries all the samples (haha).

Mu-Yeol wonders what’s got Jong-Hee in such a happy mood and Eun-Jae tells him that she’s not sure, but Jong-Hee has gotten more aggressive. The proof? Her bite wound that she tries to point out to Mu-Yeol.

The housekeeper is surprised to see them come back with groceries and asks what they are making, Mu-Yeol tells her Jong-Hee will make it all so she doesn’t have to do anything. She watches as Jong-Hee takes on her role of cooking for Mu-Yeol and dons her apron. The housekeeper gets to leave early which she isn’t happy about. Jong-Hee gives Eun-Jae the onions to cut and it seems she really does like Eun-Jae.

Dong-Su is at a computer class, trying to learn how to use the computer and Su-Young is there to pick him up after the class is over. He offers to drive it to Mu-Yeol’s place.

Mu-Yeol is worried about Jong-Hee even in the kitchen and Eun-Jae’s busy crying over peeling onions (hahaa). Jong-Hee asks Eun-Jae to pass the sauce over and Mu-Yeol offers to take it. Eun-Jae doesn’t want to play the weak girl role and struggles stubbornly with the jar until it opens. They watch her continuous struggle and when the jar gives in, she celebrates and Mu-Yeol ruffles her hair. Jong-Hee watches this curiously and with a hint of jealousy.

Su-Young and Dong-Su join them and praise Jong-Hee for cooking this all by herself and Eun-Jae said  that she helped too. Jong-Hee counters that all she did was open a jar and pouts. For once, Eun-Jae joins them in their group (yay!). Eun-Jae announces how she met Son Dong Ryul (the pitcher). Meanwhile, at the housekeeper’s place, she eats alone and watches television in the dark. They play rock-paper-scissors to see who washes the dishes and Eun-Jae loses. Everyone avoids eye contact because they don’t want to do the dishes and Mu-Yeol gets picked by Eun-Jae.

Jong-Hee walks into the kitchen, to see the two goofing around while washing the dishes. She watches this sadly and when the two come back with fruits, she has an announcement. She wants to start over with Mu-Yeol; Mu-Yeol and Eun-Jae both don’t look ecstatic about this and the married couple watches this all awkwardly. She was going to think about it longer, but she decided against that and plus she feels a bit anxious, she says the last part while eyeing Eun-Jae who is trying to distract herself by cutting an apple. Mu-Yeol turns to gauge Eun-Jae reaction, but she’s avoiding eye contact. Before he can answer, Su-Young’s stomach starts hurting and so Mu-Yeol takes the married couple to the hospital.

Jong-Hee wants to know what Eun-Jae thinks Mu-Yeol will say. Eun-Jae points out that they are a couple already hence her wearing the couple ring. Jong-Hee tells her honestly that it’s just a ring that she likes and she didn’t even want to give it back when they broke up. She had a hard time finding it again (hahahha!).

Dong-Su tells Mu-Yeol the baby will be okay and Mu-Yeol sighs in relief. They sit at the hospital and Dong-Su teases him for being proposed to by a girl and Mu-Yeol replies that what he just said was gender discrimination. Dong-Su wants to know how Mu-Yeol feels about all this and he’s not even sure himself. Mu-Yeol tells him how he and Jong-Hee vandalized a wall with Jong-Hee’s painting. He wrote on there that he was born to meet and love her which causes Dong-Su to laugh at the cheesiness. Mu-Yeol did mean it though and though it was fate or destiny. Even when they broke up, he felt it wasn’t over and now that he met her again, he realizes that they did break up.

Eun-Jae goes to visit Dong-Ah who’s busy reading a book. She asks if Dong-Ah got a call from Tae-Han and she did. I demand to know why we didn’t get to see that part. Anyways, Eun-Jae tells her that love’s really hard. She tells Dong-Ah how confident Jong-Hee is and says she’s like a pitcher who throw a fastball straight at the batter. Dong-Ah says she’s like that too, forward with her emotions, but Eun-Jae thinks she just throws the ball everywhere (hahaa). Eun-Jae changes the topic and excitedly announces how she’s meeting her dad’s girlfriend tomorrow. Dong-Ah wants to go too for the food and Eun-Jae tells her that’s not the point. The point is that a devotional 20-year love can also change which gives her hope. Eun-Jae worries if Dong-Ah is really okay.

The next day, Eun-Jae helps Chang-Woo tuck in his shirt so they can make a good impression on the girlfriend. She’s really nervous about this. Chang-Woo was nervous too since he was scared the girlfriend might have tattoo eyebrows which he has an irrational fear of (pffft). Eun-Jae doesn’t care how the woman is like as long as she lives with her dad (aww). Ahjussi bring in his ex-wife who doesn’t know her kids are here; Eun-Jae’s face drops, but Chang-Woo still doesn’t recognize who it is. He happily greets his mom and compliments her on her beauty.

Eun-Jae runs off with the dad chasing after her. She’s in disbelief that he still meets his ex-wife even after all the trouble and pain she put them through. She wanted her dad to meet someone else and storms off.

Meanwhile, things are a tad awkward back at the restaurant. Chang-Woo tries to make an excuse for Eun-Jae and only realizes that the woman is their mom when she introduces herself as Eun Ji-Sook. Eun-Jae’s at her workplace punching the punching bag to relieve her anger.

Mu-Yeol pictures his life with Jong-Hee: them getting married, having a baby, and living together with more children. It seems like a happy life and he’s wondering why he’s hesitant. He gets a call from Eun-Jae who’s frustrated at how life is not working out the way she wants it to. Mu-Yeol heads over to the office and watches as Eun-Jae works out. She takes out her frustration on all the things that have happened this episode from meeting her mother to Jong-Hee asking Mu-Yeol to start over again.

Mu-Yeol hands her a towel once she finishes and wanted to see her in hopes that he could be simple and ignorant like her. Admit it, you just want to see her (heh). They both don’t what to reveal what has troubled them and they decide to have a little boxing match. Eun-Jae was reluctant at first because she doesn’t want to see him cry after being hit. But after insulting her, the match starts. She wants him to wear a cup (haha) but he flings it away and warns her ahead of time that he won’t go easy.

The loser has to do what the winner wants so they both start taking hits to each other…well more like Eun-Jae is hitting him as he struggles to get her. After a few minutes, Eun-Jae is in his arms after trying to hold onto him and stays there to take a break. She pushes him away and he is about to hit her when he freezes, realizing that he might have feelings for her. Eun-Jae takes this opportunity to strike him and he gets knocked out. Dancing around him aren’t stars, but Eun-Jae as he keeps thinking about all the times he’s been with her.

She wonders what’s wrong with him when he smiles while he’s unconscious. He asks what her wish is and it can be anything that would create a scandal. Her wish is that he would love her back, but doesn’t say it. Instead, she wishes that he’ll tie her shoelace for her. He can’t believe he’s wasting her wish on that, but he does it anyways. Out of curiosity, he asked what he would have wished for and he said that when they play the Blue Seagulls, she would cheer for the Red Dreamers. He doesn’t tie the other shoelace and tells her he’ll do it next time.

Jong-Hee’s eye obsession is still there as she paints more eyes. Su-Young is painting a self-portrait, but at the thought of Jong-Hee’s frivolousness and carefree attitude, she starts getting angry thus painting her self-portrait’s eyes reddish. Woo-Young walks in on this and is scared at the expression his mom had and comforts her with a hug. He tells her to tell him everything so he can make it okay and the baby was scared of her expression just now too. Aww kids are so sweet sometimes.

While Dong-Su’s eating, Su-Young asks what he thinks about living in the countryside. She can teach art at a little school, he could teach kids how to play baseball, and Woo-Hyeon would play there freely. They won’t have to worry about being compared to someone else. Dong-Su misunderstands it as her having a hard time adjusting  to him not being a pro baseball player anymore and he tells her to hang it there, totally missing the feelings of Su-Young. She doesn’t say anymore and just smiles.

In her dark creepy house, the housekeeper starts to write on the back of Jong-Hee’s picture. Su-Young’s feeling under the weather so Dong-Su takes Woo-Young to school. She gets up from bed and pours herself a cup of hot water. She notices a white envelope on the floor and opens it to find a picture of Jong-Hee eyeless. Su-Young steps outside and finds no one  there. Going back inside, she flips the picture over to find the question: “Who’s the bad one now????”

There she is. The stalker is trying to bring someone onto her side. She must be one of the most fortunate stalkers around, with ability to carry out her ‘mission’ smoothly and easily while talking advantages of people around her subject, Mu-Yeol. But still, she’s a creepy stalker to me. It just satisfies me to see her being upset when Jong-Hee wears her apron and literally takes over her position in the house beside Mu-Yeol. Serves her right.

I’m glad Su-Young is finally given a chance to shine on her own accord. I mean, she’s the second lead alongside Dong-Soo but there are some episodes where they were completely missing from the screen. Her character is somehow lacking in development and I’m happy she’s now back in the focus, just like the earlier episodes.

She’s the model woman on the outside: pretty mother with loving family and amazing skills, but deep down, she’s a normal woman trying to be perfect. I won’t hate her if she decides to do something bad, because that will proves that she’ll change instead of dwelling with the hurtful comments from her own mother who keeps comparing her with Jong-Hee (awful mom! grrr). It’s not because I hate Jong-Hee or anything but I’d like to see Su-Young getting over the jealousy thing.

She keeps too much things to herself and seldom shares them with Dong-Soo or anyone else. When her husband’s career ended, I realize that Su-Young always compare his and her fate with Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee’s. They’re so close but so different. As much as she tends to be sad and lonely, she also has her son who is always there to comfort her. If she does decide to jump onto the bad side, I hope she’ll not be too engulfed in her jealousy and somehow will return to her cheerful self for the sake of her family.

I do think that this episode is mostly about family and love. Eun-Jae’s unexpected family reunion is a tearjerker,at least for me. The fact that Chang-Ho doesn’t even recognize his own mother is just heartbreaking. Oh, it’s his own mother! He must be so small when she left him. That just makes me imagine how hard it was for their family to cope and it’s probably the reason why Eun-Jae finds it is hard to accept her mother back into the family.

And for the love progress…

I love how they look like husband and wife here, no more looking like buddies or sparring partners. Eun-Jae’s knock on Mu-Yeol’s head is a big help this time. Why she didn’t do that earlier? Hehehe. Now she got him to realize his real feelings and he’s starting to feel what Eun-Jae has experienced before this. There are some nice moments of reversal, for instance when Eun-Jae meets her idol (and his enemy) Seo Dong-Yol and gushes over Seagulls’ amazing skills while Mu-Yeol frets about it to himself.Not to forget, Eun-Jae is pure adorable in every scene. My favorite moment of her? When she hugs the player for the picture. So cute.

Final rant, saved for Mr Robot: I know you still like her, no matter how weird she is. After all, she’s your Battery..so go and grab her soon!

Mu-Yeol comes clean about his real intention appearing early in the morning at Eun-Jae’s house: to ask her to protect Jong-Hee, i.e becoming her bodyguard. Eun-Jae stares at him through blurred eyes, questioning why, above all bodyguards in this world, he has chosen her. Mu-Yeol says she’s the only one he knows and have faith in, as she has helped him so much. He pleads her to help him, even to the extent of calling her by her full name: Yoo Eun-Jae.

She sends him outside and starts to explain her reason, but Mu-Yeol gets a call from Manager Kim and completely ignores her. Eun-Jae isn’t going to let him go and throws a snowball at him. He looks at her with a questioning look while Dong-Ah’s puppy whimpers at them before walking off.

Episode 11: Loss Closing Pitcher

*[Loss closing pitcher: A pitcher who plays when the score difference is big that his side has no hope of winning the game.]

Su-Young is cooking some porridge at Jong-Hee’s house. She enters her room and finds Jong-Hee drawing something on her white wall: a pair of red, bloody eyes (thank God she uses a lipstick) that probably belonged to Short. Su-Young is shell-shocked to find her like that and brings her out to eat. Jong-Hee looks at Su-Young with an unfathomable expression. She tells Jong-Hee not to hide herself like this.

The door bells rings and it’s Eun-Jae, who’s arrived to do her job. She looks at Jong-Hee pitifully and asks some questions about her to Su-Young. Su-Young then leaves for her class and now, it’s Eun-Jae’s turn to keep her eye on Jong-Hee. She sits quite far away and sighs while looking at the expressionless girl.

With his worries about Jong-Hee have already taken care with Eun-Jae staying by her side, Mu-Yeol hops on his team’s bus for the training camp (sort of a camp designed for players with disciplinary problems). Dong-Soo trails along him as he’s been asked to keep his eye on him to avoid Mu-Yeol from being involved in any incident. Mu-Yeol texts Eun-Jae for several times to find out about the situation and she replies shortly for each. He sends texts to her continuously throughout the journey to the camp.

The situation is still the same as earlier, just that Eun-Jae has started to play game on her cellphone. Mu-Yeol’s text interrupts her but she ignores him. She asks Jong-Hee whether she’s hungry or not but no response. Eun-Jae mumbles to herself and Mu-Yeol texts her again. She marvels about the vast difference between the princess (Jong-Hee) and her servant (herself) and completely pissed off with Mu-Yeol, who’s suddenly becomes obsessive with texting.

At the camp, the Dreamers are undergoing some therapy session. Obviously there’s a sign indicating that no cellphones are allowed and they are being monitored, but Mu-Yeol can’t take it anymore. He kicks out his stiffened legs after looking around and brings out his phone. He’s just started to text Eun-Jae when suddenly, she calls him. He decides to answer and Eun-Jae’s scream pierces through the quiet atmosphere from his phone. She warns him not to text her again, while Mu-Yeol is panicking. Haha! Eun-Jae nags about him being too protective and Jong-Hee looks at her. However, she doesn’t say anything.

The whole team gets their lunch and Mu-Yeol looks like he hasn’t eaten any food for the past ten days. Dong-Soo is amazes with the monk’s vegetarian diet that makes him looks good, but Mu-Yeol finds it useless as the monk can’t date or marry anyone. Dong-Soo thinks Mu-Yeol has grown up and matured when dealing with Jong-Hee. Mu-Yeol says it’s because Eun-Jae is there right now, where Dong-Soo wonders why he believes his bodyguard so much. Dong-Soo feels Mu-Yeol isn’t fun to be around and Mu-Yeol starts shaking the table. hee.

Eun-Jae is also having her lunch: a takeaway serving of jajangmyun. She eats it alone, while Jong-Hee doesn’t touch her already cold porridge in front of her.

Reporter Go enter Manager Kim’s office while the latter is looking through a list of suspects. The reporter takes a peek at the list that contains: Park Mu-Yeol, Yoo Eun-Jae, Jin Dong-Soo, Jin Dong-Soo’s wife, Kim Tae-Han, Housekeeper Ahjumma. The list is made based on people who knew about Jong-Hee’s return to Korea. Manager Kim explains that it’s probably the stalker who killed the cat as its eyes were damaged severely. Reporter Go points to a person that’s the most suspicious to him: Manager Kim’s name. hehe.

Manager Kim coolly asks him why he says so, and the reporter replies it’s because of his dissatisfaction with Mu-Yeol that made him did it to scare off Mu-Yeol. Manager kim it’s easier for him to expose all Mu-Yeol’s private matters to the press if he had to do with the stalker thing, in which Reporter Go takes out his notebook and asks him to tell him one. hahaha! Then, the reporter tells him his suspect: Jin Dong-Soo. He has the motive of jealously as Mu-Yeol outshines him in a short time.

As Reporter Go is telling Manager Kim about his theory, the Dreamers team is walking in the snow towards somewhere. Mu-Yeol grunts that he’s the most senior among the players and he doesn’t deserve to be there. He’s left behind as he tries to text Mu-Yeol, but soon cancels it after remembering Eun-Jae’s anger. Unknown to him, a car comes from behind and Dong-Soo sees it. He runs and saves Mu-Yeol from being hit, but Dong-Soo himself is hurt. Reporter Go, still talking about Dong-Soo’ motive, suddenly says that it’s impossible and Manager Kim agrees with him.

Jong-Hee is still sitting like a statue on the couch, while Eun-Jae is swaying left and right in her sleep on the dining chair. The door bell rings and she opens the door. Mu-Yeol’s housekeeper ahjumma comes over, per his order, to drop by some meals for Jong-Hee. She tries to convince her into eating but it’s no use. Eun-Jae tells her to let Jong-Hee be and she leaves. Eun-Jae can’t take this anymore and starts giving some advice (in her usual way) to Jong-Hee. Jong-Hee starts to respond and gets all violent, but Eun-Jae is faster and pins her onto the couch. She pleads Jong-Hee not to give more trouble to Mu-Yeol. She coolly answers that she’s a bodyguard when Jong-Hee asks who’s her to Mu-Yeol.

The injury probably gives Dong-Soo and also Mu-Yeol early leave from the camp and they return to Mu-Yeol’s house. Manager Kim arrives shortly after hearing about the almost-accident and Dong-Soo tells him that he saved Mu-Yeol from death. They start talking about it and Manager Kim inform them that Yoon-Yi is being watched by Dong-Ah as he’s the prime suspect. Mu-Yeol hopes the matter would be resolved quickly. Mu-Yeol sends both of them on their way out before going to check on Jong-Hee. While he is away, the housekeeper ahjumma washes the dishes and thinks about something anxiously.

Eun-Jae gives Jong-Hee the porridge and to her surprise, she starts to eat it. Mu-Yeol comes over and he’s surprised to see Jong-Hee eating. Eun-Jae scoffs about why people shouldn’t spoil at their children so much and Jong-Hee throws her spoon at her before dashing off to her room. Mu-Yeol checks on Eun-Jae to make sure she isn’t hurt and apologizes for Jong-Hee’s behavior. She tries not to tell him anything about what she did earlier, but soon she tells him. He chides her for pressing the sick person, but Eun-Jae’s threat to quit her bodyguard position makes him treats him all nice and kind. hihi.

Being a book person she is, Dong-Ah is too engrossed in the book and she realizes that Yoon-Yi isn’t there anymore. It turns out that he’s actually been sitting in front of her (why you’re so creepy..?) and calls her, making her nervous. She gives him excuse that she comes to the library because she wants to read. He wonders why she didn’t accept his invitation to watch movie together, and Dong-Ah says she’s just a little shy and doesn’t dislike him. He proposes for them to date, and Dong-Ah smiles in victory. He finally takes her bait!

Eun-Jae informs Mu-Yeol about what Dong-Ah has been doing: following Yoon-Yi in disguise. They talk over dinner which Mu-Yeol ordered for takeaway. He treats her nicely and passes everything that she wants, looking like a faithful boyfriend. They are about the start another argument (Eun-Jae says Jong-Hee is artistic bullshit LOL) but again, Eun-Jae threatens him about the bodyguard position. Mu-Yeol turns into the nice boyfriend mode again (they look like they’re on a date or something!) and stuffs Eun-Jae’s mouth with a chicken. hahaha! He tells her to remind Dong-Ah to be careful when she’s around Yoon-Yi.

Talking about them, Yoon-Yi brings Dong-Ah to a place to see the stars through dark alleys (creepy!!). She hesitates a little but still follows him. They arrives at a hill and Yoon-Yi starts to talk about his childhood, where he’d come at the place to see the city lights in place of stars. He would watch people’s houses with envy and wished to shut off the lights that symbolized comfort to other people. Dong-Ah looks at him nervously and he wants to drop the subject about stars; instead, he wants to talk about them (double creepy). She suggests for them to go down as it’s getting cold and starts walking away, but he’s faster to block her way (triple creepy for him!).

He asks her why she’s been following him these days, and her getting the job at the bar isn’t a coincidence. Yoon-Yi wonders who is her actually. Dong-Ah tries to fool him again, saying that she falls for him when she saw him on the news and apologizes. She wants to leave, but he blocks her again. He says he doesn’t dislike her and caresses her cheek with his fingers. He’s moving closer towards Dong-Ah and she screams before he covers her mouth with his palm (Nooooo!). Yoon-Yi threatens her that no one is near the place and she’d not be discovered easily if she’s to be left there unconscious. He wants to know what’s her relationship with Manager Kim and why she’s following him before punching her. Ouch! Poor Dong-Ah.

Manager Kim senses something is not right after the pencil he’s using breaks its lead. He sharpens another pencil, while Yoon-Yi keeps asking about Dong-Ah motive of following him around. Cringing in pain, she tells him the truth and takes the opportunity to flee when he thinks about it. She’s caught by him again, but a police siren blares, chasing him away. It’s actually an alarm by a person nearby, who turns out to be the housekeeper ahjumma. She approaches Dong-Ah and helps her to move. Dong-Ah refuses to report it to the police and decides to call Manager Kim.

He’s surprised to get a call from an unknown number but nevertheless, he answers it. it’s Dong-Ah asking for his help to fetch herr as she’s hurt. Poor robot, he’s so anxious and even slips on his way to the car! The housekeeper ahjumma leaves to a house, which turns out to be Yoon-Yi’s house. His grandma is worried about Yoon-Yi. The ahjumma tells the grandma not to tell anyone about her. She then gives some medicine to the grandma.

After their dinner, Eun-Jae and Mu-Yeol sits comfortably in the living room, talking about the stalker. Eun-Jae thinks that someone is thinking about killing her, but if Mu-Yeol is the exception, there’s none. hehehe. He decides to stay there in case Jong-Hee wakes up. Eun-Jae decides to leave but reminds himto pay her for 24 hours. She gets tired of him reminding her to come tomorrow. She gets out and sighs, while Mu-Yeol takes a look at the sleeping Jong-Hee.

Manager Kim reaches the place where Dong-Ah told him, but she’s nowhere. She then walks out of a store and responds to the anxious Manager Kim coolly,as if nothing happened. On their way home, she tells him everything about what happened, but she’s acting indifferent towards it. Manager Kim doesn’t say anything but he’s clearly upset with her attitude. Dong-Ah thinks he’s angry because she told Yoon-Yi about their investigation, but he’s actually angry because she treats everything like it doesn’t matter. He opens the door for her and then leaves abruptly, ignoring Dong-Ah. Awww..

She goes inside, where Eun-Jae’s father is playing (or feeding? not sure) with the puppy. He tells her not to come back too late, like a real father. Double awww. She goes to Eun-Jae’s room, but she’s going to sleep. Dong-Ah joins her and gives her a back hug. They have a girls’ talk, but most of it comes from Dong-Ah. She tells Eun-Jae about the angry robot and feels a little upset about it. She then asks Eun-Jae: is she weird? Eun-Jae doesn’t say anything but faces her and asks back what’s wrong. Ah..I love their friendship!

At Jong-Hee’s place, she suddenly dashes out of her room. Mu-Yeol tucks her in bed again and looks at her sympathetically. After some time, she wakes up again and goes out to check on Mu-Yeol. She accidentally wakes him up but doesn’t say anything. Instead, she just leans in and rests her head on his shoulder. He looks almost clueless and strokes her hair. And at the same time, Eun-Jae comes in and witnesses all this. Heartbreak alert!

Mu-Yeol realizes that she’s watching them, so he alerts Jong-Hee to wake up. She sits beside him, but he gets up and decides to return to his house. He reminds Eun-Jae to take Jong-Hee for meal at his house. Eun-Jae greets Jong-Hee and pleasantly tells her, “Let’s go through this difficult day again.” hehe. Mu-Yeol answer the ahjumma’s question nonchalantly, earning him a weird glance from her. hooo~

The anger from last night is not getting away and Manager Kim scolds his underlings, thanks to his bad temper. Mu-Yeol wonders why he’s behaving like that. Mu-Yeol is to help a free meal truck to distribute the food for his community service and ignores the reporters who keep taking his pictures.

The housekeeper ahjumma, on the other hand, is feeding the two girls, Eun-Jae and Jong-Hee. Eun-Jae eats the meal heartily, unlike Jong-Hee who looks like he’s going into a war. The ahjumma keeps staring at Jong-Hee but soon stops when Eun-Jae realizes what she’s doing. Looks like Jong-Hee is stuffing too much food to keep up with Eun-Jae as after that, she throws up. But then she goes out, with Eun-Jae trailing behind her.

Their destination: a shop selling all the things for painting. Jong-Hee orders quite a lot of stuffs and walks away. Eun-Jae follows her closely along the pavement when suddenly, Jong-Hee sees a yellow, fat cat. She follows it and Eun-Jae has no choice but to follow her. Jong-Hee eventually loses the cat and walks away in vain, ignoring Eun-Jae.

The camera pans into the room behind the bookshelves and Dong-Ah appears like a zombie after hearing her house phone ringing. The ringing stops and she returns to her bed while writhing in pain. On the other side, it’s Manager Kim who called and he keeps looking at his cellphone, probably wondering why she didn’t pick up the call.

Mu-Yeol finishes his community service and returns home. He decides to give Eun-Jae a call to check out on the two girls. They are not having the best time with each other, with Jong-Hee walking mindlessly and Eun-Jae who has to catch up with her. She’s left behind when she answers Mu-Yeol’s call, but suddenly, another problem arises: Jong-Hee accidentally (or just because she’s too ignorant on things happening around her) runs into a group of bad kids. Eun-Jae quickly ends the call to settle the problem.

The kids are already surrounding Jong-Hee like ants around sugar, telling her to apologize. Eun-Jae tries to settle it without any hussle, but the kids aren’t going to let them go before Jong-Hee apologizes to her. She starts to hit one of the kids when he tries to take away his handbag. Eun-Jae stops her from doing anything that might provoke them.

The ahjumma (I’m getting tired of having to call her with such a long name ^^;) prepares for Mu-Yeol’s dinner, but her mind is thinking about something else. She remembers that on the day of her visit to Yoon-Yi’s place, he actually took a peek of her face between the slightly ajar door. She’s way too engrossed in it and accidentally knocks down the hot soup on her leg when Mu-Yeol’s voice surprises her. He quickly tends her and she looks at him tenderly. Ewww..it’s quite gross actually!

The kids start to attack them and Eun-Jae uses her judo skills to knock one of the girls down. She tells Jong-Hee to run in the count of three. She knocks down some of the kids before running away with Jong-Hee. The kids run behind them. Mu-Yeol is in hurry to bring the ahjumma at the same time to her home. She’s still smiling with that creepy smile. Eun-Jae and Jong-Hee are still running with the kids behind them, but Jong-Hee suddenly slips and falls (arggghhh why of all time~). Eun-Jae is not going to leave her behind and tells her to run while she blocks them. She sees a patrol car nearby and goes to inform the police.

Mu-Yeol and the ahjumma arrives at her place and she informs him that her door password is the same as his. He looks around and regards that she has high taste in decorating her house. She goes inside and starts fixing her hair. She’s about to put on some lipstick (ewwww that’s totally gross!) but soon cancels her intention to do so. Eun-Jae is still fighting over the kids but she’s soon knocked down and being kicked around (I hate to see her like that ㅜㅜ). She starts apologizing to the kids when they step on her, but they run away when the policemen come with Jong-Hee.

Mu-Yeol takes a look at the ahjumma’s photo back in younger days. He wonders if anyone told her to be an actress,but she actually wanted to be a poet. He thinks she should start to do so, but she says she won’t be able to do so, as she needs to be alone in order to become a poet. Oh really? She just smiles at him when he asks whether she’s not alone anymore right now. Creepy ahjumma. Her smile disappears completely when Mu-Yeol receives a call from Jong-Hee. He puts the photo and leaves in a hurry. The ahjumma’s face turns sour. Yeay.

The two girls are at a cafe and Mu-Yeol walks towards Jong-Hee to make sure she’s okay, but the scratch on her face makes him worry and he starts to accuse Eun-Jae of not doing her job. Jong-Hee tries to stop him, but he just gets angrier. Eun-Jae walks away, limping with her legs hurt. Jong-Hee goes out after her and Mu-Yeol too. Eun-Jae ignores him and walks away while crying. Mu-Yeol lifts her up in a cradle and carries her towards a taxi while she’s screaming for him to put her down. She cries in the taxi, with Jong-Hee looking at her.

The ahjumma is all alone. She goes inside a dark room, with thousands of Mu-Yeol’s photos pasted on the wall. She mutters Jong-Hee’s name under her breath.

She’s the stalker; the person behind all the mess happening around Mu-Yeol.

Yeay! My guess turns out to be correct! Yeay!! But it’s somehow creepy and gross to have someone so close to him to be the actual stalker. Poor Mu-Yeol. he’d be surprised if he’s going to find out about this. People around him shouldn’t be trusted that much. hmph.

In this episode, I totally have mixed emotions about Mu-Yeol. Sometimes I hate him because he’s ignorant of Eun-Jae. I really have the urge to knock his head to wake him up and actually see the world around him. For goodness’ sake, the world doesn’t revolve around Jong-Hee only! The scene where he scolds Eun-Jae was the moment I exploded because he’s being a total jerk, only seeing what he wants to see. Argh! I’m quite upset with you, Mu-Yeol!

But then..he’s started to look like a sympathetic friend to Jong-Hee, not someone special to her anymore. He looks clueless at times, and him taking extra care of her is just because he feels it’s his responsibility. Wake up, mu-Yeol, wake up! She’s your past! Look at Eun-Jae, who’s going to be your future!! Treat him like a girl, not a small boy!

Okay, I’m totally complaining about Mu-Yeol, but he’s beginning to be funnier at times. His desperate-and-I-need-my-ex expression is no longer there, replaced with I-feel-better-with-Retard expression. Yeah, he need to acknowledge that as soon as possible. He’ll be more crazy and more of himself when he’s with Eun-Jae, and I totally love him like that. Hmmm..

I like the new Jong-He. Not to the extent for her to go back to Mu-Yeol’s side, but she looks stronger when she’s with Eun-Jae compared her cute, pretty side when she’s with Mu-Yeol. She might did that to be at par with Eun-Jae, but she does look better with that attitude. No wonder people are shipping Eun-Jae and Jong-Hee together. Hehe. They’d make great friends to each other and I believe it’s going to happen soon as Jong-Hee has started to call Eun-Jae by her full name: an indication that she’s comfortable to be around him. I’ll love her more if she becomes the cupid for Mu-Yeol and Eun-Jae, instead of coming between them. I hope so!

As for Robot and Battery..I’m hoping they would reconcile soon..Dong-Ah is a girl who doesn’t like to show her weaknesses in front of others, probably as her defense mechanism to herself. I believe Manager Kim doesn’t have a clue how she’s actually living her life: alone without her parents. He’d understand her once he knows the real story, so hurry up and get back together!

Eun-Jae shuts the door behind her and starts crying outside of his apartment. Poor Eun-Jae. The next day, Mu-Yeol gets ready to leave his apartment when he is surprised to see Kevin rather than Eun-Jae. Starting from today, Kevin will be Mu-Yeol’s body guard.

Episode 10: Yogi Berra’s Silence

Yogi Berra – a New York baseball player who was very talkative; he even talked to the opponents during the game. The only times he was silent was when there were hits and run sign was up! But since he was quiet, the signs were revealed.

Mu-Yeol walked into Tae-Han’s office to ask why his bodyguard has changed even though Tae-Han said it won’t until training starts. Tae-Han only said that because he thought the karaoke incident would take that long to disappear, but with all the other scandals, the karaoke one is forgotten. Mu-Yeol is angry that he was in on the decision, but when asked for a reason why the bodyguard shouldn’t be changed: he has no reason.

Mu-Yeol walks out of there angry and asks Kevin if Eun-Jae was happy that she was gone. Kevin says not really… We flash back to Eun-Jae going to the office in the middle of the night where Kevin also sleeps. I like his night cap haha. She tells him that she can’t be Mu-Yeol’s bodyguard anymore and if he doesn’t allow it, she’ll resign. Kevin asks Mu-Yeol if anything happened lately, but he says no.

Eun-Jae is at her family’s restaurant just sitting there and being gloomy. Her family knows something is up and one of the speculations is she borrowed money from loan sharks. They both don’t want to talk to her because they don’t want to have any serious conversations especially with family members (wait….what?). Eun-Jae finally opens her mouth and asks her dad if his relationship is going well which gets him flustered. He says it’s going well and she tells him that she’s against that relationship which gets him slightly worried, but she was just kidding. Her brother had run outside, but now he’s trying to eavesdrop on the conversation. Eun-Jae asks her dad when he’s going to introduce her to the family since she and her brother are older now and understand. Aww the dad is all shy about it and says it might happen soon.

Mu-Yeol is at Dong-Su’s house talking to him about the bodyguard change. Dong-Su is packing up his office as he asks Mu-Yeol why he’s sad about it. Dong-Su thought he wanted to change bodyguards, but Mu-Yeol makes up an excuse of how the environment changing can mess up his concentration (uh huh, right). Mu-Yeol had thought him and Eun-Jae bonded over fighting and they told him that they usually did rotations for body guarding.

Dong-Su gets the baseball glove from Mu-Yeol that Mu-Yeol found. Dong-Su shows it to Woo-Hyeon and tells him that when spring comes they would play catch; it’s the dream of every father and he even bought it when Woo-Hyeon was born. However, he didn’t factor in that Woo-Hyeon wouldn’t want to because it’s too scary. Dong-Su takes the glove back and there’s this cute little making face war between Woo-Hyeon and Mu-Yeol.

Mu-Yeol wonders when he’ll have a son to play catch with too and this brings up how far he went to Jong-Hee. Dong-Su knows how fast Mu-Yeol can be and asks if liking Jong-Hee too much slowed his game. Mu-Yeol tells him things were going great until the cat blocked him (haha). The cat was meowing, thinking Mu-Yeol was attacking its owner (hehehehe, hooray for the cat!). Dong-Su knows that wouldn’t have stopped him; Mu-Yeol then tells him how he likes Jong-Hee, but they always talk about the past and it’s not like he doesn’t like that. However, when there’s a gap between them, he feels lonely and realizes that back then he might have been too desperate.

Su-Young goes and visits Jong-Hee with food when Su-Young notices her old couple ring. Jong-Hee says casually that it’s just an accessory and Su-Young doesn’t buy it. Su-Young also notifies Jong-Hee that Su-Young’s mother wants to speak to her and that she knew Jong-Hee was here because of Woo-Hyeon. Su-Young’s mom was surprised that she would quit and Jong-Hee says she will be more surprised when she starts to be like Su-Young (a baseball player’s wife). On the drive home, Su-Young looks disappointed.

When Su-Young gets home, Dong-Su shows her his old office that he changed so it could be her mini studio. Although, he knows Su-Young didn’t quit art for him, she could still draw as a hobby. Su-Young doesn’t look very happy about it.

Yoon-Yi enters the bar he works at and greets Dong-Ah. He changes in the room and decides to take a peek at Dong-Ah’s wallet. He takes a look at her ID card before putting it away. He sits with her at the bar and peels the apples for her. He’s curious why she would be working here since it’s not for the sake of money. Dong-Ah looks excited that he thinks she’s rich, but it’s not that, she just doesn’t seem desperate for it. He wishes he had no money troubles like her. He asks her what her parents do for a living; her dad works for a company and her mom was a nurse, but they died in a car accident when she was a 1st year in high school. They were hit by a rich man so aside from insurance money, she also got lots of compensation which helped with her money troubles. Yoon-Yi replies that dead parents are better than parents that abandon their child (aww, it’s okay, you still have your vampire family).

At the coffee shop where the rendezvous is, Tae-Han gets worried when a couple comes in talking about some girl who had gotten into a car accident. What makes him even more worried was when he heard the girl was in a daze. He’s about to go out and find Dong-Ah when she walks in. Tae-Han asks why she doesn’t carry a cell phone and she replies it’s to make him worried when she’s late (haha I know I said this already, but I love this girl). He tells her to stop working at the bar since they don’t get any information, but Dong-Ah tells him her plan to seduce Yoon-Yi with prettiness. She thinks that Yoon-Yi is interested in her after asking her a few questions about her life such as what she’s doing this holiday. Tae-Han doesn’t seems to like this and asks why she would think that. She thinks it’s due to her misfortune with her parents. Dong-Ah continues her plan that she could date him on the holidays and capture his heart. Once that’s complete, she can go Yoon-Yi’s personal places with ease. Tae-Han rejects the idea on the basis that she’s not pretty which shocks Dong-Ah.

The car ride home is silent with Tae-Han glancing and Dong-Ah. He asks her if she’s mad (Mr. Oblivous Robot) and she replies no. He drops her off at her place and she thanks him, but before she leaves, he asks if he can have tea (awww Mr. Robot wants to stay!). Dong-Ah replies that she doesn’t have tea. What about coffee? But he shouldn’t have coffee so late. When he’s about to give up hope, she offers him citron tea which he gladly accepts.

While she’s serving the tea, he decides to sit on the floor (! more on that later) rather than the couch so he comes across a book called “What the Body Desires” (hahah oh Dong-Ah and her erotic books). He drinks his tea nervously and she asks if it’s alright since the tea’s three months past the expiration date (hah). Tae-Han gets straight to the point.

Tae-Han: I didn’t come here to drink tea.

Dong-Ah: Then what is it?

Tae-Han: Dong-Ah ssi, I came to seduce you.

Dong-Ah bursts into laughter.

Tae-Han: Will you date me? What’s your answer?

Dong-Ah pinches herself: Thank you.

Tae-Han: You’re welcome.

HAHA say what? That was the awkwardest, but cutest confession and acceptance I have ever witnessed.

The next morning, Eun-Jae looking at her photo album in bed and she comes across her family photo with the mother’s face cut out. Dong-Ah comes into her room all giddy with excitement and Eun-Jae just replies that she has no food (hah). Dong-Ah wanted to tell her that she’s meeting with Reporter Go and Eun-Jae should come. Eun-Jae replies that she gave up on “Reporter Go” to which Dong-Ah asks why since Eun-Jae never tried. Dong-Ah is surprised that Eun-Jae won over the desire to reproduce for human kind and tells her she’ll become an archaeopteryx, pretty much saying she’ll be extinct. Eun-Jae mutters that it’s like she’s evolving and at this Dong-Ah just bursts into super giddy mode.

Meanwhile, somewhere out there, Tae-Han is meeting his team before Mu-Yeol arrives at the location to do community service. Eun-Jae is shocked that Dong-Ah is not dating Tae-Han and Dong-Ah says she’ll have an erotic life from now on. She’ll be able to do everything that she’s read in books (hahaha). Dong-Ah’s cackling laughter reaches telepathically to Tae-Han and he wipes the sweat off his face (hahahha).

Mu-Yeol arrives and cue the camera flashes and screaming fan girls. The fans chant as Mu-Yeol picks up trash while wearing his nice clothes and sunglasses (haha). He asks them why they’re here and every time a fan responds, he hears Eun-Jae’s sarcastic and sassy comments in his head. My favorite comeback is when this one older woman tells Mu-Yeol that she wants to give him some restorative herbal medicine before he leaves for off season training and voice Eun-Jae tells her to take care of her husband first (haha).

While Mu-Yeol’s taking a break, the fans give him some coffee and he asks them to give some to Kevin too (aww he finally cares about others). He drinks the coffee and doesn’t think that it taste good because you know, only Eun-Jae’s coffee tastes the best.  This causes him to think about Eun-Jae so he gives her a call, but she doesn’t answer. However, he can’t call again since he has to go and pick up trash now with fan girls screaming his name.

Eun-Jae sighs and decides to get out of bed so she can wash the Park Mu-Yeol rug that she always steps on. She tries to delete his number off his phone, but she can’t bring herself to. She goes and visits her mom’s flower shop and asks her to wrap up some white chrysanthemums which are usually for funeral occasions.

Her mom recognizes her and Eun-Jae cuts to the chase of how her dad is dating someone and if the mom feels sad even though she threw him away. The mom asks her for the reason why she’s saying all this and Eun-Jae tells her how she thought she would not understand her mom til death. The mom notices something is off, but tells her not to make any excuses because of the mom. Eun-Jae leaves the flowers there because it’s for the mom that died in her heart a long time ago; Eun-Jae finally has a heart to feel sad (aww).

The mom calls the dad and cancels the plans to meet the family which breaks the poor dad’s heart (aww). Eun-Jae goes back to work and gets assigned to a new job in which she guards a soon to be divorced woman who is most likely being blackmailed by her husband. Eun-Jae talks casually about Mu-Yeol and tells Kevin to be alert about stalkers and that Mu-Yeol seems to have gotten thinner. She also mutters that he has such a big mouth of a baseball player.

Mu-Yeol finds out that Eun-Jae was sick which he doesn’t believe because “she looks like she can beat up an ox” (hahaha). They start talking about Eun-Jae when she was little and how she was even more of a blockhead than now. Kevin was the one who taught her judo in middle school and in her first year of middle school, she got into a fight with a member of the soccer club and she said the guy provoked her first. Since she couldn’t fight, she bit the guy until the guy cried (hah).

Kevin realized that she was the one and that she could get an Olympic medal with her stubbornness. However, the only obstacle was that she was the same age and size as Kim Eun-Jin ( an Olympic gold medalist in judo). They were both equal in strength but Eun-Jin upped her in intelligence (haha).  When the match ended, she cried and Kevin had to carry her out (hahahhaa)! A few days later she quit judo. Mu-Yeol then went on to the topic of boys and if any liked her and there was one named Kim Yoon-Shik. He did judo too and was one year older. Kevin stops talking and eyes Mu-Yeol suspiciously as Mu-Yeol looks unhappy that another guy liked her (someone bring that Yoon-Shik guy so Mu-Yeol can be jealous!).

Meanwhile, Eun-Jae takes the fragile client to the court and sees the angry ex-husband.

At the stadium, Dong-Su notices one of the player’s, Jong-Il, bat swing is putting too much force on his wrist which is causing him pain. He decides to help the player, but advising him to change his swing. The player takes it all in, but not too happily. He badmouths Dong-Su once he’s inside the locker room about how Dong-Su is not their senior anymore so why should he give them advice, basically calling him third-rate and how embarrassing it is that he’s still here. Dong-Su hears all of this outside and the other players don’t notice him nor do they defend him. Mu-Yeol walks up to Dong-Su and Dong-Su tells him he needs a character course because he exceeded the penalties.

Dong-Ah and Yoon-Yi say goodbye in front of the bar and go their separate ways, Yoon-Yi looks back to see Dong-Ah get into Tae-Han’s car. Tae-Han stops the car in front of her house and opens up a notebook  that Dong-Ah wrote which lists the things they should do now that they’re together. He points out number 17 which he has an issue with because cell phones have electromagnetic waves and if they keep calling at night, it’ll be bad for their health. Dong-Ah agrees to get rid of that one, but she can’t agree to get rid of number 21 on giving each other nicknames because it brings a sense of closeness; that is what Judy, the writer of “All About 21st Century Love”, taught her. Dong-Ah gets out of the car and Tae-Han leaves, but little do they know, Yoon-Yi followed them.

Mu-Yeol sees fan girls takes pictures with his cutout and even kiss it. He comments that is why he has nightmares (hahahha). He turns around to ask if Eun-Jae does that with Son Dong-Ryul’s cutout too. He realizes belatedly that it’s Kevin behind him. The fan girls try to go up to Mu-Yeol once they see him, but Kevin blocks their way. Mu-Yeol asks what Eun-Jae is up to and decides to  go and visit her. The client is on her way and Eun-Jae watches her leave, but the client’s car is stopped by her ex-husband so Eun-Jae pulls him away as the client escapes successfully. The ex-husband looks angry and thinks that Eun-Jae is having a relationship with his ex-wife. He’s about to hit her and Eun-Jae dares him to. Mu-Yeol interrupts in time and grabs the guy by the collar, threatening to kill him if the guy ever hurts Eun-Jae. The guy runs away and Kevin slyly trips him (hee).

Mu-Yeol wonders why she didn’t stand up for herself like she would when she’s against him. Eun-Jae points out that he curses at her too and Mu-Yeol says him and that guy are different. Only he can treat her like that, no one else is allowed to because Mu-Yeol doesn’t like it. Mu-Yeol messes around with Eun-Jae by putting her in a headlock and ruffling her hair, all while doing his little cute evil laugh.

Mu-Yeol takes her to a BBQ restaurant which he knows she likes and she sighs as she follows. She finally sits in the same table as Mu-Yeol in a public setting because today, she’s his guest, not bodyguard.

Jong-Hee meets the housekeeper by the elevator and asks if Mu-Yeol is home. The housekeeper says he’s not and eyes the rings Jong-Hee has on her left hand. Jong-Hee pouts a little, she wanted to have dinner with him.

Mu-Yeol gives Eun-Jae beef because it’s good when a person is sick. Mu-Yeol talks about how he thinks a little of her and how she probably doesn’t even think about him (boy, you have no idea). Mu-Yeol wants to know why she suddenly left being his bodyguard, but Eun-Jae doesn’t answer.

At the apartment, Jong-Hee does a little cleaning and lets the cat outside (NOOOO). She tells the cat to stay around the halls and not wander too far.

Back at the restaurant, Kevin is having the time of his life eating (haha). Mu-Yeol tells Eun-Jae that their relationship is not a casual, acquaintance type, and notes that she’s acting weird. He knows because she’s not stuffing all the beef in her mouth as soon as she’s done.

Jong-Hee is done cleaning and looks around for Short, but he’s not in the hallway.

Mu-Yeol challenges her, does a normal bodyguard go up a mountain to look for a client? He asks her bluntly if she liked him because he likes her too.

Jong-Hee runs down the stairs and gives a description of Short to the security guard who informs other guards that they are looking for a white cat.

Eun-Jae asks if it’s true and he tells her how she was weird at first, but over time, he found her cute. He now wants a sister like her. Oh heck no, he didn’t just sisterzoned her! He knows she’s mad at him about something and goes on, not seeing that she’s about to cry. He tells her to think of him a hyung…no oppa. Oh gosh, does he really still see her as a guy? Eun-Jae doesn’t want to have him as her brother and he feels offended, but asks why. It’s because he’s selfish, violent, and ignorant. Mu-Yeol gets angry and shouts that he hates it too and that if he got a truckload of little sisters like her, he would hate them all. He gets up and tells her to stop eating since they’re leaving. Kevin quickly shoves the last piece in his mouth before following in suit.

Jong-Hee and two other guards search around the streets for Short, but the cat is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, it seems someone is spying on Jong-Hee in the dark. Eun-Jae and Mu-Yeol are still fighting and Eun-Jae asks why he came looking for her? She was just about to control her feelings.

Jong-Hee heads back to her apartment where there is a pink box waiting outside for her (oh no…).Mu-Yeol and Eun-Jae sever their ties, but the situation is put aside when Mu-Yeol gets a panicked phone call from Jong-Hee. He knows something is wrong and rushes over with the other two. Jong-Hee just holds the phone, trembling and traumatized. Mu-Yeol is on the phone with her as Kevin drives with Eun-Jae in the back seat. Jong-Hee screams a blood curdling screech. The neighbors come out after hearing her scream and they panic at the sight of what’s in the box, which is Short (noo!). Jong-Hee starts biting herself as a way of keeping it together.

The scene cuts to a mysterious person who is throwing away gloves that are covered in blood and we see a box cutter that is also stained red. Mu-Yeol gets there just as Jong-Hee collapses and takes her inside. He struggles to prevent her from biting herself. He keeps whispering to her that it’s going to be okay, but none of it is getting through to her as she grieves over Short. Eun-Jae watches all of this with a sad expression.

Eun-Jae goes outside and picks up Jong-Hee’s phone as Kevin inspects what’s in the box. The police arrive and talk to Kevin. Jong-Hee ends up biting Mu-Yeol, but he doesn’t complain and Eun-Jae closes the door. The security guard explains to the police what happened and they leave with Short. Jong-Hee has finally calmed down and Mu-Yeol tells her it’s okay all while looking angry.

Eun-Jae sits in the dark sullenly and Chang-Woo freaks out when he sees her there (random: I like his duck sweater!). When asked what she’s doing, she says she’s being jealous of an unlucky girl; she can’t believe how she’s acting right now.

Eun-Jae cries in the dark alone while Mu-Yeol, fuming, holds a sleeping Jong-Hee in a brightly lit room (I’m liking the parallels). Tae-Han and the guard go over the tape from the elevators and the security guard explains they don’t have camera in the hallways due to privacy complaints. Tae-Han reports this to Su-Young and Dong-Su. The criminal took action because there were no cameras and there were no fingerprints on Short. The police say they will pay attention to what’s going on however no actions will be taken since this was a cat and not a human  being.

Mu-Yeol asks Tae-Han if they can delay today’s schedule, but Tae-Han says it’s impossible. Eun-Jae answers the phone call drowsily, but is wide awake when she hears the caller’s voice. It’s Mu-Yeol and he’s outside her house right now. He wants to talk to her. She tells him to wait and she quickly washes her face, picks something out to wear, and puts some frozen meat over her puffy eyes. Mu-Yeol asks why she took so long and comments about how her face is so swollen which causes her to quickly cover her face. She counters that he didn’t come all the way here to talk about her face, did he?

They relocate to the living room and he takes in all the Seagull decorations everywhere. She quickly prevents him from looking at a carpet of himself.

Mu-Yeol: Your father and brother aren’t here?

Eun-Jae: If they were, how could you come in? Do you want something to drink?

Mu-Yeol: No need.

Eun-Jae:…How’s Jong-Hee?

Mu-Yeol sighs: How is she…she’s already sensitive enough. I’m so nervous now.

Eun-Jae: Why did you come? You said we’d never see each other again.

Mu-Yeol: It’s not the right time to talk about  that. You…will be Jong-Hee’s bodyguard.

Crack. Someone’s heart just broke all over again.

Comments:

I can’t believe the drama is going away from the funny scenes this episode, this episode had a darker tone, but it was still good. Great breakdown scene from Jessica and Lee Si Young’s acting just blew me away, how many times will we see this girl get hurt? I’ve seen her heart break more times than the characters actually playing baseball! 

Now time for my favorite moments, Mr. Robot and Battery, how I love you guys so. I demand to see more of their scenes! MOARRRR! So more on the scene I wanted to talk about. I love love how Mr. Robot was going to sit on the couch, but then sat on the floor with Dong-Ah. It’s like he wants to be on her level and see her eye to eye. He wants to know her, I’m probably thinking too much of a person changing seating positions, but that’s what I see.

Yoon-Yi’s totally creeping me out with his stalking tendencies and I’m hoping it’s because he likes Dong-Ah and not that he wants to hurt her! I won’t believe it! He’s supposed to be Jong-Hyun, the nerdy genius!! 

I’m pretty sure I know for sure who’s the stalker, I have my suspicions! 

One of the poignant scenes  for me was the contrast of Eun-Jae crying alone and Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee being together. They contrast each other so differently and both have different issues to face. It’s even more symbolic after Eun-Jae told her brother that she’s jealous of an unlucky girl because she has someone who cares for her, while she takes it all on her own.

I was a bit sad about Mu-Yeol in this episode especially the way he treated Eun-jae. I know he means well, but it was heartbreaking to see him slip up and tell Eun-Jae to call her hyung. She’s been guy-zoned, friend-zoned, and sibling-zoned all at once.

Poor Short, you will be missed.

Episode 9 : Who can we blame? Texas Hit.

Mu-Yeol stares at Eun-Jae with an unfathomable expression. He then walks off towards the door to unlock it, thus permitting Jong-Hee  to enter. She greets Eun-Jae, in which the latter responses with so much awkwardness, and gives a Christmas present to Mu-Yeol, but he  doesn’t show that much enthusiasm like he always do (probably still in daze after the confession). Jong-Hee looks at both of them and senses that something is off between them.

She decides to leave, but Eun-Jae’s sudden (loud and creepy) laugh stops her. Eun-Jae says something about being the loser and urges Jong-Hee to join them. She makes a call to Dong-Ah(and interrupting the poor girl’s golden nap time) to tell her about her lost in the bet that they made, while Dong-Ah thinks they didn’t make any bet. Eun-Jae cuts the call in the middle and proceeds to explain about the bet: to confess to someone that she won’t possibly like, that someone is Mu-Yeol. He squints at her adorably, showing his slight annoyance at her (and that’s cute! hihihi).

Mu-Yeol is actually not too pleased to be dragged into the game and when Jong-Hee asks what his answer would be, he says he’d just reply with a standard, nonchalant “Are you crazy?”. Jong-Hee thinks the game is a bit rude if Mu-Yeol really likes Eun-Jae, but Eun-Jae knows their relationship is just like the two people who want to kill each other. Mu-Yeol halfheartedly agrees to her description, earning a glance from Jong-Hee for both of them.

Eun-Jae urges Mu-Yeol to open Jong-Hee’s present and reveals the rotating music box (or whatever it is called ^^;). Mu-Yeol looks at the half-bought-half-self painted present and after being told by Jong-Hee to play the music box. He does so, and Jong-Hee dances adorably, not quite in tune with the music. The couple smiles, leaving Eun-Jae alone outside of their world, unknown to her. While the two women are left in the living room as Mu-Yeol goes to fetch Jong-Hee’s present, Eun-Jae wishes her a very awkward Christmas greeting before gulping down the beer.

Mu-Yeol gives Jong-Hee a perfume and when Eun-Jae asks him for her present, he says he doesn’t have any. Awww. He probably senses Eun-Jae’s sadness because she gets ignored and tells her the truth: he actually sent the gift straight to her house. Her father and brother have already gotten the large package, and it contains the high quality beef. Hahaha! She’s indeed in a very different league than Jong-Hee! She’s not that happy to receive beef as Christmas present, but Mu-Yeol says she’s such a big fan of meat and BBQ, that’s why he sent that. He totally cares for her!

The three of them ride the elevator together and Mu-Yeol tells Jong-Hee about Su-Yeong’s new job. She playfully asks him whether she should be a teacher like Su-Yeong or not. After she gets off at her level, Eun-Jae questions why he wants to escort her on her way out, while he never did that before this. He’s doing so because she’s drunk and holds out his hand to touch her hair, but her confession earlier sends him into another confusing emotions and he pulls back.

He’s still thinking about it and decides to ask Eun-Jae about it. Did she really meant it? But she doesn’t say anything and steps into the cab, with  Mu-Yeol opening the door for her (swoon~). He wishes her a safe journey and Eun-Jae is beginning to regret her actions earlier.

Eun-Jae arrives home. Her father and brother is still kneeling in the living room, their eyes looking at the beef from Mu-Yeol. She doesn’t show any enthusiasm about the gift, and the two guys are still contemplating whether to accept the gift from their enemy or not. Chang-Ho tries to make his father accept the meat, instead of throwing it away just like that.

Chang-Ho: Dad, you can hate a man, but you shall not hate the beef.

Eun-Jae’s Dad: That’s right. What did the beef do wrong?

Off his dad takes away the beef and starts putting them in the fridge. Hehehe. Chang-Ho tells his sister that his father probably didn’t get dumped and Eun-Jae is happy that someone could still enjoy his Christmas. Chang-Ho senses that she’s been dumped just by looking at her hunched, lifeless back.

Mu-Yeol isn’t getting his good night’s sleep as he keeps replaying Eun-Jae’s confession again and again in his head. He shouts at himself: why he’s thinking hard about it? The next day, Jong-Hee wakes up (don’t worry, she’s safe and sound at her own house! ) and gives Short the cat the milk. Suddenly, she sees the ripped envelope, clearly one of her Short’s bad doings. She chides the cat by blowing it on its face (which the cat helplessly and cutely tries to resist) and threatens to gives it an onion kiss if it does that again. She picks the ripped envelope and throws it away without looking at it.

The doorbell rings and at Mu-Yeol’s house, Eun-Jae arrives and sees the housekeeper ahjumma wearing a new scarf, a gift from Mu-Yeol. Eun-Jae sighs over the beef he got for her, and off Mu-Yeol and her leave for  the office. He can’t concentrate much on his training (Eun-Jae’s effect! kyaaa~) and misses so many shots. Dong-Soo comes over to tell him about their promise to watch movie at 5.

Eun-Jae tags along, only to find that it is a double date and she basically the loner. Dong-Soo and Su-Yeong, Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee, Eun-Jae and her popcorn. She eyes Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee with laser eyes as they whisper into each other’s ears. She crushes the popcorn bucket, waking up the sleeping man beside her. He looks at her with fear, and Eun-Jae puts a handful of popcorn into her mouth. I think she enjoys seeing the man looking at her with fear. hehehe.

Second round: to the game zone! The guys cheer for their women, while Eun-Jae stands quite far from them. She cheers for them from afar and has those longing eyes to join them. Awww. She plays hit-a-mole, but doesn’t put any coins in the broken machine; just hitting the holes to kill her time. She watches over them like a bodyguard should, and that actually breaks my little heart as I watch over our lonely Eun-Jae.

They go to a cafe to eat and Jong-Hee reminisces how Dong-Soo was the famous one during college, and now Mu-Yeol is more famous than him. Dong-Soo says he isn’t jealous at all. He goes to pick up their meals, and Eun-Jae, who is guarding Mu-Yeol giving away his signature, leaves her post to ask him something. She’s curious why Jong-Hee calls the three of them by their names, while she’s the youngest among them. Dong-Soo explains that she does that only to close friends and she chooses to speak formally to the people insignificant to her.

Dong-Soo brings the meal to their table and Mu-Yeol leaves his little signing event although the kids keeps calling him. Jong-Hee divides the food and addresses Eun-Jae politely as Eun-Jae sshi. Eun-Jae knows that she’s the insignificant person to her and addresses her formally as Jong-Hee sshi too. Jong-Hee tells them about her intention to stay in Korea and she has quit painting, to everyone’s surprise. She marvels around how her health has tremendously improved since she quit a year ago. Silence falls between all of them after she speaks of the matter.

Su-Young is the one who’s most affected by what Jong-Hee said earlier and on their way home, she spills her thoughts to Dong-Soo. She admits that she quit painting because of Jong-Hee and how she was feeling down because Jong-Hee were more excellent than her. She was upset because her mother also witnessed how the young girl outshone herself. Dong-Soo teases her that he thought she quit because of him, bringing smile back to his wife’s face.

Dong-Ah is still in disguise and she keeps her eyes on Yoon-Yi at the bar. She gets anxious when he sees a woman passing a piece of paper to her, but it is thrown away after he takes a look at it. She picks it from the dustbin and not that pleased to see that it’s another phone number from the woman that tries to seduce Yoon-Yi. Dong-Ah complaints that nothing weird is happening around Yoon-Yi to Manager Kim (who picks her up! hihihi) and voices out about women who are becoming more open in voicing out their interests to men. Hehe. They arrive at her place and she gives him a New Year card with her picture in bikini. Manager Kim watches her until she goes inside and opens the card, revealing Dong-Ah in bikini..when she was a cute little girl. pffft. She wishes her a very happy new year and day for everyday. She signs it with ‘Your Dong-Ah’ and Manager Kim lets out a faint smile.

Eun-Jae just finishes her new skincare routine when Dong-Ah enters her room. Dong-Ah gives her the New Year card and tells her that she’s going to get dirty (i.e trying hard to win mananger Kim’s heart I think) this year. Eun-Jae rolls her eyes after hearing the usual report about Yoon-Yi: he’s popular, he’s good at peeling apples, he got long fingers. Dong-Ah admits she’d fall for him, if not for her Mr Robot. She then asks Eun-Jae about her progress with Reporter Go, and using the reporter’s name as a disguise for Mu-Yeol, she wonders how does it feel to have your crush actually liking you back. Dong-Ah says it would feel like a miracle, as the books say so.

A new day comes and Dong-Soo is busy dividing the packages to be carried by some high school baseball players. They bring the boxes into an office, where Mu-Yeol is having a chat with the team’s coach while Eun-Jae is looking around. He is actually giving some gifts for his school’s baseball team and teases the coach, who turns out to be his coach during his high school days. The coach sighs after knowing Dong-Soo’s baseball has ended and he’s only an agent now.

The two friends go to take a look at the place where they were once students and reminisces about their good old days. Dong-Soo brings up the matter about Jong-Hee to Mu-Yeol and he knows Jong-Hee is recovering from her bipolar disease. Eun-Jae comes over, bringing two cups of coffee for both of them. Dong-Soo tells him to get together back with Jong-Hee as both of them are not the same immature couple years ago and they know each other too well. Eun-Jae, upon hearing his words, drinks the coffee meant for Dong-Soo and leaves them.

Cut to their women, where Jong-Hee is at Su-Young’s place. Jong-Hee marvels about Su-Young’s amazing cooking skills. Su-Young then asks her about her decision to quit painting, but she replies nonchalantly that she’s been trying to do so for almost one year. She tells her about her two wishes: to paint and to be Mu-Yeol’s wife.

At the bar, Dong-Ah takes the opportunity while Yoon-Yi is busy to raid his bag and search for some clues. She so close to be found out by him, but she’s saved when the owner tells him that someone is looking for him. It’s Reporter Go, who drops by to see him after a while. Dong-Ah goes out and sees Reporter Go talking with Yoon-Yi, and he asks about his job. He then deliberately drops a picture of Mu-Yeol (with the eyes poked) and Yoon-Yi picks it up. Dong-Ah is surprised to see the picture and she’s about to ask Reporter Go about it when the bar owner wants her to do something else. She sweeps the front door but soon stops doing so. haha..poor Dong-Ah!

Reporter Go tries to dig into the matter about the picture that Yoon-Yi received before he started ‘playing around’ with Mu-Yeol. He doesn’t say anything but Reporter Go says it must have something written about Kang Jong-Hee, making his face changes. The reporter then excuses himself,at the same time Dong-Ah returns inside. She looks at the young man, whose face gives off the vibe that he’s worried about something.

Dong-Ah meets Manager Kim at a cafe and reports about Reporter Go. She starts drawing his face on the napkin: oval fave, slender eyes, thick lips. OMG hahaha! Suddenly, she sees the reporter coming into the cafe and starts to hide her face. She tells Manager Kim to kiss her (OMG!) to avoid being recognized by him, but he’s trying his best to pull away from her grab. Hehe. The reporter approaches them and  addresses Manager Kim. Dong-Ah is lost when he introduces her to the reporter.

It turns out that Reporter Go has decided to lend his hand to Manager Kim in the quest for Mu-Yeol’s stalker. Dong-Ah chides Manager Kim for not telling her about it, but he says it’s a last minute decision. Reporter Go sees the drawing Dong-Ah made earlier to describe him and goes, “Is this a drawing of a person?” HAHAHA! Dong-Ah takes the napkin away and fumes about the matter, plus Manager Kim not using their telepathy to tell her about Reporter Go. The reporter tells about what he found out about Yoon-Yi, and at the same time, the scene reveals him on the bus, looking at Mu-Yeol’s picture in his book.

Reporter Go is sure that Yoon-Yi doesn’t know who is the stalker, but the stalker knows him very well to know that he has the bad side to his polite, ethical nature. Dong-Ah tries her best to ignore the reporter, but not until she realizes that the Reporter Go in front of her right now is the Reporter Go that belongs to Eun-Jae. At the Dreamers’ office, Eun-Jae feels her name is called by someone, i.e telepathy.

She is, as usual, waiting Mu-Yeol outside the locker room. She yawns and two of the players greet her. The two players go inside the locker room and meet Mu-Yeol. One of them asks Mu-Yeol whether Eun-Jae has boyfriend or not. The second guy, Hyun-Woo tries to shut his friend’s mouth, but his friend is fast enough to tell Mu-Yeol: Hyun-Woo is actually having a crush on Eun-Jae. heeee. And Mu-Yeol’s reaction is all like, “That retard? Really? WHY?” Hyun-Woo likes her cute laugh and demonstrates it, and Mu-Yeol exaggerates the laugh with snorts. He agrees to ask her for him.

He goes out and sees Eun-Jae acting out some of Jong-Hee’s habits (and giving some comments on them no less). Unknown to her, Mu-Yeol watches her as she acts all cute and pretty, trying to be as feminine as Jong-Hee. He stares at her secretly, smile creeping out on his face. Eun-Jae almost sees him but he’s faster to hide. He keeps watching her until the two players come. He calls for her and walks away, smiling secretly as he manages to keep her cuteness for his eyes only. Awww..

Reporter Go and Manager Kim’s meeting is almost coming to an end, but soon Dong-Ah, who’s been staring at Reporter Go, starts asking about his ideal woman. He gives off an awkward laugh before telling her about his ideal woman: someone who won’t talk back to him, even when he scolds her. Cut to Eun-Jae, who’s denying Mu-Yeol’s accusation (he tells her about her awkward Jong-Hee-style dance) with rage and even curses to herself. hihi. Dong-Ah sighs, admitting that it’s a bit difficult for Eun-Jae. Manager Kim suddenly begins to list his own ideal woman characteristics (“I like honest girls”..like Dong-Ah? hehe) but gets cut halfway by Dong-Ah. She proceeds to ask more questions to the reporter.

Eun-Jae is going to leave for the day (her bow/nod to Mu-Yeol is so cute!) and suddenly, Mu-Yeol asks her about Hyun-Woo. She starts commenting about his baseball skills. Mu-Yeol hesitates to tell the truth and drops the subject. The bell rings and it’s Jong-Hee, who comes with a bottle of wine and her Short. She seems glad to see Eun-Jae leaving and Eun-Jae leaves after sighing in frustration. Outside, she starts venting out her anger at Jong-Hee and decides to eavesdrop. She’s found out by Mu-Yeol after Short keeps meowing at the door. She walks away with hesitation, but Mu-Yeol is still smiling.

Eun-Jae rides the bus and there’s a couple who’s hugging in front of her. She shouts at them, and the couple breaks apart. She then sighs about the public moral and stuffs while opening the window to get some fresh air. At the same time, Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee are sitting on the couch, talking about Short. She sees the rings on his necklace and he gives her the rings. Jong-Hee doesn’t remember she sent her ring back to Mu-Yeol, partly because she was confused at that time.

She then wears the ring and Mu-Yeol wonders how can someone like her hate painting. He admits that he once thought about quitting his baseball career: when she broke up with him. He wonders how did she feel when they broke up, and leans in..for a kiss. Heh. On a side note: he looks quite troubled before he decides to kiss her.

Eun-Jae is doing her sit-ups when Dong-Ah (again) barges into her room. Dong-Ah tells her she should stop being her usual self and tries to change for Reporter Go. LOL she’s totally clueless about this! Eun-Jae sighs, saying that she really wants to change, but she prefers to have someone to like her just the way she is. Dong-Ah suggests her to wait for the right person to come into her life, and Eun-Jae smiles at her before resuming her sit-ups. Love their friendship!

The day starts as usual with Mu-Yeol leaving the house and the housekeeper ahjumma cleaning the house. She sees lipstick stain on one of the wine glass and takes it away. Eun-Jae is not in her full spirit, and her mood isn’t getting better when she finds out that Jong-Hee is wearing her couple ring. She completely loses herself in thoughts and just follows the couple out to a place.

They go to the place where Jong-Hee once painted some flowers on the wall. Eun-Jae looks at them from afar as they reminisce their memories. The scene changes into Eun-Jae witnessing Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee’s self several years ago, going there in the middle of the night. They leave their traces there, and Mu-Yeol writes something. Both of them run away when a guard comes over. Eun-Jae stands there, reading the written sentence: “I was born to love you.” Back to the present, Jong-Hee tells that the place is going to be demolished soon. They walk away, Eun-Jae following behind.

After sending Jong-Hee to somewhere, Mu-Yeol tells Eun-Jae to take the front seat. She obeys him silently and he regards her strange behavior, far from her usual bickering habit. She tells hin that she’s sick, but soon says it’s just a joke.

Jong-Hee walks around and passes by a shop selling art stuffs and she stares at it. Meanwhile, Su-Young i probably thinking about the same thing. She’s actually at her mother’s place, and Woo-Young returns home with his grandma. Su-Young’s mother wants to meet Jong-Hee after knowing that she’s there, but Su-Young comes clean about Jong-Hee’s decision to quit painting. She says that Jong-Hee might have another things in mind, compared to her mother who only thinks painting is her only world and leaves with Woo-Young.

At the gym, Eun-Jae looks over as Mu-Yeol starts his fitness training. She stares at him, laughs at his lame, arrogant jokes, but soon her face falls again. Dong-Soo comes to give her Mu-Yeol’s list of dates he has to go for his community service. Before he goes out, Eun-Jae asks Dong-Soo about fate. He just replies that both Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee are one special couple. She calls Kevin Jang, who’s looking around his new office and informs him that she wants to tell him something.

That night, Eun-Jae even opens the car door for Mu-Yeol and on their way to his house, she keeps silent. Unknown to him, she starts to replay all the things that happened between him and her in her mind (this is so heartbreaking T.T). They arrives at his house and she checks around before walking towards the door. Mu-Yeol reminds her to dress properly as the next day is going to be cold, but she ignores him. She looks around the house and bows to him, saying her goodbye. She doesn’t say anything and goes out to cry by herself. She wipes her tears and walks towards the lift.

At her house, Jong-Hee realizes that Short is acting strange and she takes a look at her door. A dark figure appears and disappears from her sight, leaving her in anxiety. The mystery stalker is not too pleased with the current things going on and throws crumpled Mu-Yeol’s picture into the dustbin.

Eun-Jae, Eun-Jae, and Eun-Jae…does she really have to suffer like that? Watching her being the outsider in Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee’s relationship kills me. She’s too strong to be scarred, plus it’s because of love. I don’t want her to lose her spunk and keeps being the amazing Eun-Jae.

Although many are starting to hate and resent Mu-Yeol from this episode onwards because of his indifferent reaction towards Eun-Jae, he’s still affected by her confession. I find him quite sweet to consider his feelings for her and thinks about her over and over again, it’s just that he’s being distracted by Jong-Hee’s presence in front of his eyes. For this, I actually nod in agreement with the title, and I think Jong-Hee is the ‘Texas Hit’, falling in between two persons at the wrong time. Surprisingly, I don’t find her that annoying (probably because I’ve prepared myself well) and it’s just part of her character.

Dong-Ah and Manager Kin are just amazing as always, but the cutest character for this episode goes to….

Part of it thanks to Dong-Ah’s drawing and questions, I’m seeing him in a new light. hehe.

Crack. Someone’s heart just broke into pieces. Eun-Jae is left with her world spinning and everything is so distant. Her elbow accidentally presses the bell so rather than say she accidentally pressed it, she asks for alcohol.

Episode 8: Throwing, needless to say, the pickoff.

*[The pickoff is when the pitcher or catcher throws the ball to the defense so they can make the runner stay on a base or tag him. Basically means stealthily interfering with someone.]

Mu-Yeol asks why Jong-Hee is back and she just says she missed them, can’t she do that? Eun-Jae says no, in her head. Mu-Yeol asks if it was a coincidence, but Eun-Jae thinks there is no coincidence and she’s right. Jong-Hee came back after hearing all those nasty comments about Mu-Yeol. Jong-Hee compliments Eun-Jae on her drinking skills and it turns out Jong-Hee has that too. Thus begins the pride contest of who can drink the most alcohol. Jong-Hee drinks hers every femininely while Eun-Jae drinks hers like a badass. I loved that soju glass roll to the mouth move.

Little did they know, there was a third competitor who didn’t want to be left out. Dong-Ah ends up puking her guts out in the bathroom while Eun-Jae freshens up. Dong-Ah mentions how while them two looked like drunkards, Jong-Hee looked like a sleek cat with charm which gets Eun-Jae angry. Eun-Jae ends up supporting Dong-Ah and witnesses the flirting between Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee (whose using her cute charm). This causes Eun-Jae to fling Dong-Ah away and call for a taxi quickly so Jong-Hee can get out of here. How cute of Tae-Han to try and support Dong-Ah. Mu-Yeol tries to tell Jong-Hee something when she’s in the taxi, but Eun-Jae slams the door and tells the taxi to leave since there are so many cars behind it.

When Eun-Jae gets home, she finds her brother secretly spying on their dad whose talking on the phone. Her brother tells her that their dad has a girlfriend which is why he’s all smiles. Eun-Jae notes how her dad’s heart which had been stubborn on one love for 15 years even opened up for a new one. She bursts into the room and shouts: “Yoo Young Gil, FIGHTINGGGG!” LMAO. It startles her dad and brother.

Eun-Jae looks into the mirror and says to herself that love is about change. She takes one of Dong-Ah’s books titled, The Psychology of Seduction, finally acknowledging that Dong-Ah might have her uses. She starts her transformation by shaping her eyebrows which ends up with her shaving some of it off. She then starts straightening her hair. She also starts putting on some foundation which causes her to get sneezing. Finally she is done preparing and she looks really cute! I was scared they would make her look like some clown.

She enters Mu-Yeol’s apartment and they both circle each other like animals who encounter other strange animals. They both notice the difference in each other – Eun-Jae with her straight hair and Mu-Yeol without his mustache (which I really liked!). They even cut his bangs and I like it when he has that casual slightly gelled hair, now it’s all flat. The housekeeper thanks Eun-Jae for finding Mu-Yeol before Eun-Jae leaves.

She comments on his strong cologne and asks why he shaved off his mustache. He wanted a fresh start with a fresh look which she grumbles about what fresh start? He asks if it looks okay and she says he  does; he looks like a pretty boy. He asks about her hairstyle and she wanted to try something new, is it okay? His response: she looks cool like a man-woman. Ouch. He looks at her and says something’s wrong with her eyebrows which makes her cover her eyebrows quickly, but in her speed, she smacks herself. While she’s in pain, he tries to pry off her hand so he can see it.

They go to Tae-Han’s office where he gives them the location of Mu-Yeol’s community service duties as well as tell Mu-Yeol that people should not know of Jong-Hee coming back. They leave Tae-Han’s office to find Dong-Su with Reporter Go. It’s all awkward and Dong-Su commands that the both of them to make up. Mu-Yeol should say thanks and Reporter Go should say sorry. They protest like little kids and apologize quickly. Dong-Su even makes them shake hands and they do it reluctantly, even quickly retracting like the other one’s got cooties (hee). They probably had a hard time doing that scene without laughing!

Mu-Yeol changed into workout clothes and walks back into the locker room when he gets a phone call from Jong-Hee. I like how Eun-Jae was taking sel-cas of herself again. They meet Jong-Hee at a cafe where Eun-Jae sits at a different table. Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee have a casual conversation about how cute Mu-Yeol looks and whether Jong-Hee slept or not. Through this, Eun-Jae was making little snide comments in her head (haha). Jong-Hee asks who Seo Yoon-Yi is.

They go to the hospital where Yoon-Yi is getting discharged. Mu-Yeol asks Jong-Hee if she recognizes him which she shakes her head no. If he was that cute, she would have remembered; Mu-Yeol does a double take at Yoon-Yi and Jong-Hee gets up. When she’s out of earshot, Mu-Yeol asks Eun-Jae if that guy is cute and she replies how could Yoon-Yi compare to him? She gives him the thumbs up and Mu-Yeol agrees, giving a thumbs up back.

The two nurses, who are walking with Yoon-Yi, tell him to come back again so they can have tea together. Jong-Hee walks up and congratulates him on his discharge, but  does he know her? Yoon-Yi is confused and said he doesn’t think so and she says of course he doesn’t know her. So, why did he do it? Yoon-Yi is lost and Jong-Hee takes out a rose. She smacks him across the face with it. Good thing it wasn’t her hand, that pretty face can’t get damaged! Mu-Yeol and Eun-Jae are shocked by her actions.

During the car ride, Mu-Yeol tells Jong-Hee not to see Yoon-Yi anymore since he’s a dangerous guy. Jong-Hee jokes with him and Mu-Yeol says that he’s serious. Jong-Hee bites his hand and asks why he’s angry. Eun-Jae is surprised at Jong-Hee’s action and a little weirded out. Mu-Yeol tells her that he’s not angry, just worried. She pouts a little before returning to a chipper mood. In return, he should buy her dinner! So they go a restaurant where Eun-Jae has her own table. Eun-Jae glares and Jong-Hee and Jong-Hee tells Mu-Yeol. Mu-Yeol says she’s always like that and Jong-Hee wonders if he ever gets bothered by it. Mu-Yeol replies that it used to, but not anymore (hahaha). Jong-Hee leaves to use the restroom.

While she’s gone, Mu-Yeol asks Eun-Jae for an opinion of Jong-Hee from a woman’s perspective. Eun-Jae retorts, how would she know? He said she wasn’t a woman. Mu-Yeol hastily says she’s a woman, now what’s her opinion? Eun-Jae tells him how she’s pretty, charming, stylish, nice, and drinks well, but would a woman like that be single? She’s from England where mating is active, she probably had lots of flings like with Toms or Michaels. Hahaha! This rattles Mu-Yeol for a bit and his mood gets sour, even Jong-Hee notices.

They go to a store where they shop for cups like newlyweds. Poor Eun-Jae has to tag along and witness all of this. She continues her snide comments about how the Red Dreamers will fail in the next season with Mu-Yeol not practicing. When Jong-Hee shouts cutely that it’s a bear, Eun-Jae sarcastically remarks in her head about how she’s able to figure out such a hard animal like that. Mu-Yeol plays along too and shouts that it’s a tiger. They do this funny little fight/dance thing with the slippers as Eun-Jae laughs about how childish it is. They turn to look at her and she tells them to continue; Eun-Jae even mocks Jong-Hee by shouting out cutely that there’s a fork. PFFFT.

They leave the store arm in arm as a few onlookers see. Jong-Hee flirts with Mu-Yeol and asks he’s able to let her hold onto his arm, i.e., is he single? Mu-Yeol asks  the same question back, does she have a Tom or Michael in her life? She jokes that she got tired of him and dumped him. She tells Mu-Yeol to hold onto her bag which he gladly does. Eun-Jae looks at this all sadly.

Eun-Jae inspects her face in the mirror and wishes she was prettier. She asks Dong-Ah if she was a guy, would she fall for Eun-Jae. Dong-Ah says yes, but when asked which part of Eun-Jae, Dong-Ah replies that she thought this was just a yes or no question. Heh. Dong-Ah demands, which guy is it this time? Even if Eun-Jae doesn’t tell her, Eun-Jae can’t hide it from her, she’s Kim Dong-Ah. She starts her detective skills: it can’t be Mu-Yeol, it’s not Tae-Han because he’s her’s, Dong-Su is married…it must be Reporter Go! Eun-Jae sighs, what would Dong-Ah know about love. Dong-Ah begs to differ, she’s melo expert Dong-Ah; she can even find romance in elementary school textbooks (hahahahhha).

Dong-Ah encourages her to confess, but Eun-Jae is too scared to as a woman. She’s not even pretty or charming. Dong-Ah gives her some advice: love doesn’t look at the overall status. That would be matchmaking. Love focuses on one charm. Eun-Jae has her own charm like jewels. Eun-Jae tries to figure out what charm she has compared to Jong-Hee, but in the end, she is still blown away. Eun-Jae sighs that she has nothing. Dong-Ah cheers her up, even poop has some use, so Eun-Jae will find hers too. Eun-Jae thinks about it and it’s physical strength.

At the gym, Eun-Jae stares at Mu-Yeol while Mu-Yeol thinks about Jong-Hee. A ringtone sounds, but it’s actually for his teammate and not him so Mu-Yeol angrily tells his teammate to change his ringtone. He goes to the locker room where he look at a calendar, trying to figure out who’s birthday he could use as an excuse to go to Dong-Su’s house. Su-Young’s already passed and Dong-Su’s later. He ends up going to Dong-Su’s place to give a present to the little boy for graduating kindergarten, however he didn’t graduate, just moved up a class. Jong-Hee and Eun-Jae laugh at Mu-Yeol’s awkward situation.

Dong-Su gets a phone call that tells him Mu-Yeol is over at the house. He’s out shopping with Su-Young for groceries and he tells her that he knew Mu-Yeol would come today or tomorrow. He knows Mu-Yeol still likes Jong-Hee. Su-Young comments that they didn’t break up because they fell out of love. They link arms and continue shopping. Aww, so cute.

Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee chat together while Eun-Jae has a play date with Woo-Young. Eun-Jae opens the door of his room with the excuse that if a man and woman are together, they should leave the door open (hahaha). Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee talk about her current living situation and she asks him to give her a room at his place. Eun-Jae shouts out: “You wicked punk! How dare you challenge me?!” while pretending to reenact something with Woo-Young. Jong-Hee wonders what she should do, hotels are expensive, motels are uncomfortable. Mu-Yeol asks how long she is staying to which she replies that she’s not sure. Should she just not go back? Eun-Jae screams: “Shut up! Before I rip off your noisy mouth!” Poor Woo-Young looks so scared.

The married couple come back and they all have dinner together at the dining table except for Woo-Hyeon and Eun-Jae who are at a separate table. Eun-Jae tries to eavesdrop while Mu-Yeol tells them all about vacancies in the officetel (an office and an apt together, derived from ‘office’ and ‘hotel,’ I believe) that he lives at. Mu-Yeol thinks that she can even just rent per day and while Eun-Jae’s not looking, cutie Woo-Young tries to sneak his veggies to her bowl. Eun-Jae slams the chair with her spoon and Woo-Young quickly withdraws (haha! poor kiddy).

An agent shows Mu-Yeol and Jong-Hee the officetel while Eun-Jae stands and watches. The agent mistakes the two for a newlywed couple so Jong-Hee plays along and asks her “honey” what he thinks. He uses “honey” as well and Eun-Jae just stands there dumbfounded, she silently calls him a bastard. Eun-Jae’s sad that when they were mistaken as newlyweds, he got so angry. Jong-Hee finds out that pets are allowed and she’s happy that Short doesn’t have to sit out on the porch. Mu-Yeol tries to cover his smile about something.

Jong-Hee walks them into the elevator and once they’re in, Mu-Yeol explodes with joy and laughter. He’s laughing about how the cat’s name is Short and Eun-Jae laughs too, thinking that Mu-Yeol is making fun of the name when in actuality, he’s happy about it because his position in baseball is shortstop. Eun-Jae sarcastically remarks that he must be really happy and Mu-Yeol wonders what’s wrong with her, she seems weirder lately. Eun-Jae warns him that she’s about to get even weirder.

Eun-Jae is sullking at her workplace while Kevin is busy calculating the expenses. She asks him if he ever fell for someone while he was working and he said only once. It was during the 2000 World Cup and he thought she was beautiful, however he only saw her once. He knew his position as a bodyguard and that he will always be behind her…that’s the love of a bodyguard. Eun-Jae leaves with silent tears since she was touched by the cheap love story (haha).

Jong-Hee comes over to Mu-Yeol’s to ask for some milk, but ends up staying for dinner. The housekeeper recognizes her and doesn’t really seem elated to see her again. Jong-Hee asks if she can eat here again since she has nothing to eat at her place. Mu-Yeol happily agrees to it.

Eun-Jae walks inside the gym where she looks at Mu-Yeol with lovey dovey eyes in the mirror, but Mu-Yeol thinks she’s glaring at him. Mu-Yeol asks Eun-Jae about her first love and when she starts to tell him, he thinks she’s just making it up. She tells him her first love had a Song Joong Ki style (mary: ooh cute. may: LOL Eun-Jae!)

She continues her story about how she and her oppa from church went on a date. They went ice skating and ate afterwards, however when he left to use the restroom, he didn’t come back for a while so she went outside where he was being bullied. Eun-Jae kicked all of the bullies’ butts, but her first love got so scared that he ran away from her. It seems like earlier, during the date, she was hiding her true self and being girly. She even snacked on some of the food before bringing it to the table just so she could pretend that she can’t eat those kinds of food well (haha).

Mu-Yeol laughs at her love story and tells her that the oppa didn’t contact her anymore because she showed her strength in front of him (awww) and saw him at his most embarrassing moment. Mu-Yeol tells her to never do that to another guy that she likes and she mutters that she already did. Mu-Yeol starts his story, but she tells him that she doesn’t want to hear it. Other people’s love story makes her cringe and the only reason why she shared hers was because Mu-Yeol told her to. She decides to ask why Jong-Hee and him broke up instead, there must have been a problem and if that problem was resolved. She tries to dissuade him from starting over with Jong-Hee by saying how it would just be leftover feelings and a broken bowl can’t be put back together.

We got our other favorite couple who are doing a stake out. They are spying at Yoon-Yi who got a new job at another bar. the key to why Yoon-Yi did this is in Yoon-Yi’s hands as he’s the one who knows the actual stalker. While Tae-Han tells her all this, Dong-Ah is busy putting on makeup and looking like a bar hostess. Tae-Han doesn’t understand why she’s doing all this and she replies that this is fun because this has nothing to do with her. She asks him to put on the fake eyelashes for her. She leans closer to him and he looks kind of nervous (hehe). She gets out of the car looking like a bombshell while Tae-Han leans back and wipes the forehead on his face (aww is Mr. Robot overheating from all the hotness? Hee).

It turns out Dong-Ah made a mistake about the job offer, they weren’t looking for more bar hostess, but help in the kitchen. Dong-Ah tells the Madam that she’ll do her best in any job that she is given. The woman asks if she even knows how to peel apples, Dong-Ah replies that she even knows how to make little bunnies. Dong-Ah struggles with the apples so Yoon-Yi tells her to peel the oranges instead while he peels the apples.

Mu-Yeol is at home, drinking a beer and thinking about the past. There’s a flashback to Jong-Hee painting Mu-Yeol’s toenails. While she paints them, she tells him that they should break up because she’s making things hard for him. Later on, he will hate her and get tired of her; he would want that to happen. He starts to get up and she tells her not to because it’ll get ruined. She tells him that she loves him too and leaves.

Mu-Yeol’s running at the gym and Dong-Su passes by. Eun-Jae asks him why Jong-Hee and Mu-Yeol break up. It turns out Jong-Hee is bipolar so at times she can’t eat well and would feel nervous. One time, in Mu-Yeol’s third year, Mu-Yeol was at a training camp and Jong-Hee suddenly disappeared. Mu-Yeol went out to look for her without permission and the coach thought of him negatively. Eun-Jae  now knows why his fourth year stats were so low. Jong-Hee decided to break up with Mu-Yeol since he was having a hard time. Eun-Jae can’t say anything bad about her now since she knows the story. She hands Mu-Yeol a towel which he wipes his face with and drapes across her neck (so unsanitary).

Jong-Hee walks out of the officetel and it looks like someone’s spying on her. Mu-Yeol and Eun-Jae are walking out when suddenly, someone grabs Eun-Jae! Mu-Yeol turns around and sees Jong-Hee smiling evilly. They link arms and turn around to see Eun-Jae being carried away by a few men. It turns out to be a dream.

She wakes up and walks into the living room where her dad is mustache-less and ironing a dress shirt. She’s so shocked and her brother saw it before so he’s not as surprised as her. She wonders why her dad is like that and her brother says it’s his fault; he told the dad that if he confessed during Christmas, the success rate is higher. Her dad is fixing himself up in the mirror when she tells him that his face looks bigger, he tries to use Chang-Woo’s beanie which doesn’t fit him (hahaha). She cheers her dad on as he leaves. If things work out for him, that means she can get her hopes up too.

Mu-Yeol is watching Home Alone at his apartment and wonders who he can call to hang out with him. He decides to read and ends up falling asleep. He wakes up and decides to call Eun-Jae who’s also napping. She wakes up in an instant when she hears his voice over the phone. He asks her to come over and she’s super excited, but she decides to play it cool by saying she has things to read. Mu-Yeol tells her to come over before he changes his mind plus he’ll buy her good food. She quickly fumbles to find something to wear. She puts on some lip gloss before leaving.

She gets to his house where she’s disappointed that they’re having delivery. Mu-Yeol tells her that a lot of restaurants are booked. He notices something’s on her lips so he wipes it off, but it turns out to be lip gloss. She’s trying new things since it’s Christmas.

They have lots of drinks and she smiles happily that she was invited here. Mu-Yeol looks melancholic though.

Mu-Yeol: Gullhead, do you think about the oppa from church sometimes?

Eun-Jae: What?

Mu-Yeol: Your first love. The oppa from church.

Eun-Jae: What’s the point of thinking about him, he’s probably living well somewhere…what’s Jong-Hee doing?

Mu-Yeol: I don’t know.

We cut to a scene where Jong-Hee is painting a small angel statue. Someone slides an envelope under the door of her house.

Eun-Jae: Why didn’t you call her? You live so close to each other.

Mu-Yeol pats her head: Gullhead, what you said is right. We broke up because we had a problem. The same problem is still there. Do you…believe in fate? Right here (he points to his pinky), I heard that a red string is tied to the fateful person.

Eun-Jae: So what? Then, what about Elizabeth Taylor? Was she tied 3, 5 times?

Mu-Yeol: It isn’t about how many times a person gets married or dates. It’s not about whether the things go well for the couple or not. It’s not like that. Just…could she be the one? Stuff like that. Even after you break up with that person…and it’s ended, it’s still not over. It doesn’t seem like this is the end.

Eun-Jae: There’s no such thing. It’s just having leftover feelings.

Mu-Yeol: You’ll meet someone later too.

Eun-Jae: Even if I meet someone like that, it’s not fate. If we meet, we meet. If we break up, we’re done. What’s fate?

Mu-Yeol: There is fate. Everyone has one. People just let go because it’s tough.

Eun-Jae: I said there’s no such thing. Even a love that seems more important than death gets forgotten over time.

Mu-Yeol: What do you know about love?

Eun-Jae: You think I don’t know? I learned that love is critical when I was just 9.

Mu-Yeol: With who? Your neighbor?

Eun-Jae: My mom had an affair and our family was in chaos. Ahjummas would come and pull our mom’s hair, totally shamed by our neighborhood. But my dad said he’ll forgive her, he loved her. But my mom said she didn’t need anything, not even her kids. She packed and left because my mom loved that man. How could I not know love? I’m full of inherited genes for love like that! Listen, my mom, who believe that guy she had an affair with was her fate, ended up breaking up with that man. And my father, who has been waiting for my mom for 15 years, is meeting another woman now.

The dad nervously waits at a restaurant table. A woman enters the room and it’s Eun-Jae’s mom!

Eun-Jae: After not being able to forget for about 7 or 8 years, how can you talk about fate? How frustrating…

Mu-Yeol: Hey Gullhead, what’s wrong with you? Why are you so mad?

Eun-Jae: It is very troublesome to me if there is something you can’t forget.

Mu-Yeol: What is?

Eun-Jae: I don’t know where everything went wrong, but I started to like you.

Mu-Yeol sits there speechless and she breaks the silence by saying she likes him again.

Eun-Jae: If there’s something called fate, my fate is you.

Bam, and it ends though there’s a little tidbit of the cat ripping up the envelope that was placed under the door. At the back of the photo inside the envelope, there’s a sentence: “Please go back!”.

My reaction after that cliffhanger:

It was a crazy way to confess to someone, especially after spilling her guts out about her mother’s affair. It probably wasn’t the right time to, but I can see why the writer would want that; it’s because Eun-Jae is at her most vulnerable ever. She just opened up her heart for Mu-Yeol right then and there and on Christmas too (when the success rate is high).

Jessica’s acting was not bad in this, I liked it. Not just because I’m slightly biased (my friends call her beast!jessica when she gets angry haha), but she has potential. Especially after that quiet moment when she’s painting his nails, I could see the emotions she’s trying to portray. Is she the best? Nope, but she just needs more experience.

Well..I’m here to spazz about Eun-Jae. Because she’s an awesome girl who knows the things she has to do when the need arises.

The confession made by her was pure awesome. Hands down, I’m rooting for her, come hell or high water. Maybe that would be a great surprise to Mu-Yeol, who’d be thinking about “How come this tomboy likes me? Impossible!”, but she bravely expressing her feelings towards him, despite the knowledge that there’s probability about him rejecting her. Yeah, she is brave to do so, while I’d never do that to my crush. Okay, now I’m pouring my heart out. hehehe. Some people (including me at times) are not that happy to see Mu-Yeol hovering over his ex and leaving Eun-Jae behind, but she’s so hilarious until I’m quite assured that she can go through it. Especially the scene where she re-enacted Jong-Hee’s cuteness (“Ah, it’s a fork!” LOL). I’m actually worried about what her reaction might be after finding out about her mother’s return. May she be safe from any harm, be it physically or mentally.

Another girl that I’m worried about: Dong-Ah. She seems overly engrossed in the mission to find out who’s the stalker, and I can’t shake away the feelings that she might encounter something dangerous in her quest. Manager Kim, I hope you’re always close enough to save her from any harm! Please, I beg you, Mr Robot! Protect your life Battery!

Their characters in the drama have all grown into their adult counterparts, but the foundation laid by these young actors are so solid and even giving some stress to the actors who have taken over their roles. Well..I might be one of the fans of the adult actors, but the teenage actors have done a very spectacular job and they deserve the praise and limelight. Sometimes I do miss their presence in the drama, but to have some glimpses of them inside the adult actors and this photo shoot makes me happy.

Jin-Gu! The hair~! And is that eyeliner? One thing for sure, if he’s keeping his pace like this, he’s surely going to be the next sageuk hero and noona killer. Maybe in the next few years, we are going to see him in another sageuk, this time playing the adult version of the hero. If possible..Kim Yoo-Jung as his love interest? I’ll look forward to it.

Dear Siwan…no matter what you choose (or the coordi noona tells you) to wear, you’ll always be adorable. Ahjumma-looking or not, you’re still the pretty boy Heo Yeom to me. I’m not paying so much attention to kpop scene nowadays, part of it thanks to my growing kdrama addiction, but to learn that he’s actually 25 amazes me. That means..I’m younger than him? Yeay! He doesn’t have that much experience in acting, but he proves that he can act. I still find it’s unbelievable that this ZE:A member is 25. He has such a youthful face.

As for Woon (yeah, I like to call him that!) and young Min-Ho, their single shots are not there yet..but I believe High Cut will release them soon! Hihihi~

Mu-Yeol tenderly tends Eun-Jae’s wound on the forehead. He puts the band-aid on her and she looks at him with an unfathomable expression (but it’s killing me! ><). He then tells her to go home after having a hard day protecting him. Eun-Jae walks out slowly, her hand touching the band-aid from Mu-Yeol. Mu-Yeol brings down an old box and look through a book with handwritten sentences of a child, probably his diary.

Episode 7: After all, it ends up as a back up play.

Dong-Soo wakes up early in the morning to pick up the newspaper only to find Mu-Yeol standing like a stalker in front of his door. Mu-Yeol refuses his invitation to go inside and starts to tell him about what he’s thinking about. He can stand other people hating him, but not Dong-Soo. He pleads his hyung not to hate him. Dong-Soo stops whatever he’s going to say. Mu-Yeol quickly leaves and Dong-Soo is about to go back into his house when he takes a look at the newspaper. He’s shocked and tries to run after Mu-Yeol, but he’s gone.

The thing that surprises him: the news about Mu-Yeol being officially banned from baseball has made into the headline.

Eun-Jae has also found out about the news and goes to Mu-Yeol’s house. She tries her best not to look too sad and greets the housekeeper ahjumma. However, she is a step too late: he’s gone and left behind his room in a complete mess. Eun-Jae looks around and see his diary lying on the bed. One of the sentence reads, “I like baseball more than I like mom.” A flashback comes in between, with Mu-Yeol reading his diary about how he stayed behind at the practice field to play as he couldn’t do so at home. He’d die if he won’t be able to play baseball, because that’s what he loves the most, more than his love towards his own mother.

Dong-So comes to Mu-Yeol’s house to help locate his whereabouts, but he’s nowhere to be found. The housekeeper ahjumma suggests them to report to the police but Dong-Soo disagrees as Mu-Yeol’s baseball career might end for good if this news gets out to the public. Reporter Go and Yoon-Yi are both deeply immersed in their own thoughts after finding out about the headline.

Both of them are probably thinking over about what they did to him. That doesn’t imply to Kevin Jang, who keeps thinking about his dream of moving and bonuses from Mu-Yeol that would disappear soon.The PR team of Red Dreamers has already had enough of the incident and starts putting all the news about Mu-Yeol away. The only group of people that is happy with the recent happening is Blue Seagulls’ supporters, and that implies to Eun-Jae’s family, except for her. While her family and Dong-Ah are having a very nice seafood dinner while celebrating the news, she’s alone outside, pondering about Mu-Yeol.

The day changes, but Eun-Jae is still replaying Mu-Yeol’s question to her: does she think he’s crazy enough to beat someone without any reason? She absent mindedly says no to that question. Dong-Soo repeats the sentence that Mu-Yeol wrote: If he doesn’t play baseball, he’d die. He concludes that the only way to keep him alive is to allow him play baseball again. So off he goes to ask for the player’s association to help Mu-Yeol, but the response is negative.

Eun-Jae, on the other hand, chooses another approach to solve it. She calls for a ‘meeting’ with fellow members of Mu-Yeol’s anti fan cafe (in which she’s the admin). The other members (two of them from the Mu-Yeol’s egging incident) are surprised to learn that she’s actually the hardcore admin in the site. She tries to persuade them to do a petition to bring back Mu-Yeol into the baseball scene, so that they’d have someone to be cursed and hated (LOL), and eventually sustaining their fan cafe’s existence. Well..an anti fan cafe isn’t that useful if the person they hate isn’t there anymore, right?

She also brings home the box containing Mu-Yeol’s diary and tells Dong-Ah to read them to looks out for the possible place he might have gone to. Dong-Ah suspects that Eun-Jae is doing all this not because she’s his bodyguard, but because…he knows her secret. hehehe. Eun-Jae lets out a sigh of relief. Dong-Soo is also trying his best by searching for people who might be willing to sign the petition for bringing Mu-Yeol back. It’s not an easy job as they need someone as powerful as..Manager Kim. Manager Kim can feel someone is calling his name. haha.

Eun-Jae sighs about the difficulty of bringing Manager Kim to their side. Dong-Ah says it’s actually easy as robots like him run on batteries. pfffttt. Eun-Jae can see which direction the conversation is heading to and leaves her, but Dong-Ah has another way to make the robot as their hidden weapon.

So, they set up a meeting with Manager Kim and Dong-Soo. At first, Dong-Soo tries to use the club’s role to help the players but fails. Eun-Jae is upset about Dreamers’ bad policy and thinks that her Seagulls is even better in terms of taking care of the players, but then Manager Kim says that’s why the team got second place. Haha. Eun-Jae almost give him a warning punnch but gets stopped by Dong-Soo. Manager Kim almost leaves when finally, Dong-Ah speaks up. She begins talking about investment, return and risk; the things that Eun-Jae and Dong-Soo don’t have a single idea about them.

Things that Dong-Ah said might sound logic to him (only the battery knows its robot well after all^^) as in the next scene, he discusses about the positive and negative effects of helping Mu-Yeol to play baseball again with his boss. The boss smiles and nods in agreement to what he says. Then, Manager Kim gives the order to his underlings in order to revoke the ban on Mu-Yeol.

At the bodyguard office, Eun-Jae bids goodbye to Kevin before she goes to find Mu-Yeol. Kevin prays for Mu-Yeol’s safety, so that he’ll get his bonus. hahaha! Then, she goes to get the clues from Dong-Ah, but the book lover finds Mu-Yeol’s diary boring. The only thing he wrote in the diary was about baseball. She’s not that happy when he always wrote about his dreams of tomorrow. Dong-Ah seems to have some issues about it and Eun-Jae looks at him with almost pitiful eyes. She tells Eun-Jae not to look at her with that kind of stare or she won’t be friends with him. Eun-Jae tip-toes silently in the middle of the night and successfully escapes from her house without waking up anyone.

Never going to give up on what he’s doing, Dong-Soo meets up one of his juniors in other baseball team to get his signature for the petition and even threatens him (in a playful way) to tell everyone about his bad habit of he doesn’t sign. On his way out, he run into Reporter Go and completely ignores the new enemy. But when Reporter Go suggests him not to do anything  to help Mu-Yeol, he can’t take it just like that. Dong-Soo tells him to believe what he sees in Yoon-Yi as he’ll believe what he know about Mu-Yeol.

Eun-Jae is looking around at a junior high school based on what Dong-Ah extracted from Mu-Yeol’s diary. She takes a peek inside the baseball store and suddenly, the school guard comes asking what she’s doing there. She’s being serious and starts asking about Mu-Yeol, but the guard is making fun of her. She quickly strikes out the details about the school.

He’s still shaken by what Dong-Soo told him earlier, so Reporter Go visits the bar where Yoon-Yi worked at to ask the owner more about him. She tells him more or less the same as what he can see: the boy is nice, kind, etc. He assures himself that his judgement is also correct this time.However, when the owner talks about CCTV, that ticks off something in Reporter Go’s memory: the voice recorder he placed inside the bar to eavesdrop on Dong-Soo and Mu-Yeol’s meeting. He rushes back to his home and starts to replay what has been recorded in his spy/detective kit. He’s frustrated when he realized that he turned the recorder off right after Dong-Soo left, hence he didn’t record anything on Mu-Yeol and Yoon-Yi’s meeting.

Dong-Soo also drops by the bar to ask about Yoon-Yi and he’s surprised to learn about someone who’s faster than him to ask the owner about Yoon-Yi. The said man is alone at his home, thinking about what might had happened between Mu-Yeol and Yoon-Yi.

Eun-Jae’s search meets another obstacle and she cringes. Suddenly, she sees a figure standing at the edge of a cliff, looking far away. She recognizes him: Mu-Yeol! Without any hugs or greetings, she launches onto him, her legs first. Yes, she delivers double flying kicks towards the unfortunate man, who turns out to be a guy who’s posing for photo with her girlfriend. pffftt. She quickly runs away before she’s caught and stumbles down in the process of running away. That’s oddball Eun-Jae.

The PR team of Red Dreamers is taking all necessary measures to improve the bad image that Mu-Yeol gained through the ban. His diary, in which he recorded his training are scanned and publicized. Even the kids are amazed by the intense training he made himself went through. His grade teacher also shows his school records, which improved tremendously after he started off with baseball. The housekeeper ahjumma is interviewed and she tells the press how he’s living his life.

Eun-Jae arrives at a very rural area by taking a bus and he walks into the forest although she’s alone. Somewhere in the forest, Mu-Yeol swings his bat for contless times already, but he’s not going to stop in the nearest time.

Dong-Soo comes home with tiredness and cold, but he’s still going strong in finding people who’d like to support Mu-Yeol, be it near or far. Su-Yeong wonders why he’s so kind towards Mu-Yeol, and Dong-Soo gives the analogy of being unable to watch someone so gifted to be wasted away just like that. Woo-Young complains about his father being not fun at all and his mother cheers him up.

It’s already dark and Mu-Yeol finally stops his endless training. His palm is already bruised from the excessive grabbing of the bat and he heads to somewhere with his gasoline light. Suddenly, he hears something. Somewhere inside the forest, Eun-Jae has stopped walking and trying to control her anxiety while planning on what to do once she finds the thug Mu-Yeol.

Mu-Yeol approaches her and she jumps in surprise. Eun-Jae then starts crying, the first time she ever did that in front of him. He then hugs her (awwww~) and pats her back to calm her. That’s super sweet, before Eun-Jae stops crying, realizing that they’re being in a super awkward position. She withdraws herself from the hug (after Mu-Yeol tells her to do so LOL) and leaves some stain of mucus on him. hahaha! He wants to leave, but Eun-Jae grabs his sleeve, afraid that she will lost him again. He pulls his sleeve, only to change the lamp to another hand and then, he grabs her hand firmly (major spazzing moment here!). They walk away, hand in hand.

At the hospital, Reporter Go is there for another visit to Yoon-Yi’s ward. He hesitates in front of the door and sighs loudly to himself. He only enters when the nurse (or Yoon-Yi’s fangirl) is going out. Things turn out to be awkward for both of them, all of a sudden. It’s like Reporter Go has lost his sharp tongue and just stands there, while Yoon-Yi is the one who does all the talking.

Still holding each other’s hands, Mu-Yeol brings Eun-Jae to the temple he stays at. While heating up themselves in front of the fire, Eun-Jae starts telling him about his action that makes everyone upset. She sighs at his idea of being a monk (as if he can control his womanizer trait). She doesn’t like his current self: giving up what he likes because of mere argument. He doesn’t have any evidence or witness to say defend himself, and he doesn’t want that someone to be dragged into the matter. That someone is Jong-Hee.

Reporter Go is asking about who Jong-Hee is to Yoon-Yi. At first, he plays dumb and acts like he doesn’t know what Reporter Go is talking about, but he easily falls into the trap and admits that he’s doing it because of money and Reporter Go’s involvement is just a bonus for him. Yoon-Yi is actually envious at the baseball players like Mu-Yeol who’s living in wealth although they’re not that bright when it comes to studies. Reporter Go isn’t holding his guard down and starts to put some rationale in Yoon-Yi’s way of thinking: being athlete isn’t that easy. He leaves Yoon-Yi alone, and Yoon-Yi brings out the photo with Mu-Yeol’s eyes being poked. He flips it and reveal a sentence written behind it: “If you mess with Kang Jong-Hee, Park Mu-Yeol will lose it“.

Mu-Yeol is still persistent about protecting Jong-Hee and he is even willing to go abroad if that what it takes for him to play baseball again. Eun-Jae still thinks he’s putting behind what he treasure the most by doing this, but their conversation ends with Mu-Yeol going to sleep.

The next morning Eun-Jae is preparing to leave with Mu-Yeol, but she’s suddenly sick and have to take some rest. Mu-Yeol lets her sleep for a longer time and they can’t go out of the mountain anymore. Eun-Jae wants to get out as from there as soon as possible, but Mu-Yeol worries about her health. He looks at him with teary eyes and hands her the notebook she used to jot down all the places she went to find him.

Dong-Soo is still trying to collect as many signs as possible for the petition. On his way out, he runs into Reporter Go, but he ignores him and walks away. Reporter Go looks back at him while holding something inside his pocket. At Mu-Yeol’s house, the housekeeper ahjumma takes some time after after tidying up his bedroom to pray for his safety (or at least that’s what I think she’s doing).

Back at the temple, Eun-Jae isn’t getting any better. However, she just says she’s still alright to Mu-Yeol. Knowing that she’s freezing, he then wraps his arm around her (eeeepppp!!!). He assures her he won’t do anything and tells her to go to sleep. Between the silence, Mu-Yeol thanks Eun-Jae for everything she hd done for him. Both of them fall asleep and the next morning, they’re walking down the mountain. The reporters are gathered to hear the final outcome of the appeal. Dong-Soo tries to contact Mu-Yeol but fails.

They ride the bus, with Eun-Jae worrying about the appeal and her phone also happens to be out of battery. Mu-Yeol is extremely calm and just like Eun-Jae predicts, the appeal is going to start really soon. Dong-Soo happens to receive a call from the bar owner, who tells him about a voice recorder she found at the room where Mu-Yeol beat Yoon-Yi. Dong-Soo suspects Reporter Go to be the one behind it and calls him. Reporter Go is at the baseball stadium, all set to receive the call from Dong-Soo, who quickly leaves to meet him.

The bodyguard and her client are killing their long time riding the bus and easing their anxiety by trying to do something funny. Unfortunately, all of them (done by Eun-Jae) only receives straight faces from Mu-Yeol. Maybe the guy was a little hard to please, after all. Meanwhile, Dong-Soo has found Reporter Go. He still thinks what he did was right, as the fall for someone is inevitable, no matter what the reason is. He then asks why Dong-Soo is doing so much things for Mu-Yeol, who should be his enemy. Dong-Soo looks at talent more than jealousy, and after telling him his shattered dream of being a pitcher for his baseball team, Reporter Go gives the recorded voices from the device.

Manager Kim is to delay the appeal meeting per Dong-Soo’s request to delay the meeting, so off he goes into the meeting room and starts talking about the history of baseball. He’s super nervous but manages to hide it extremely well (except from the hanky and water) and beats around the bush. Every time the people urges him to say the real matter, he keeps telling them about the history again and again. Luckily Dong-Soo arrives before he gets dragged outside.

The recorded voice is played in the meeting and it turns out that Yoon-Yi first insulted Jong-Hee and resulted in the fight. Mu-Yeol and Eun-Jae have arrived at the terminal, at the same time the appeal committees end their meeting. Another person also arrived at the airport: Kang Jong-Hee (Jessica Jung). She goes to meet Su-Young, who’s surprised to see her.

Eun-Jae and Mu-Yeol are welcomed with giggles and laughs by Dong-Soo, Manager Kim, and Dong-Ah at a restaurant. It turns out that his punishment has become lighter and Mu-Yeol hugs Dong-Soo in delight. They even roll on the floor, with Eun-Jae  joining them of course. He also hugs Manager Kim, who tries his best to as stiff as he can. hahaha! Eun-Jae also get double hugs from him and she’s quick to come between Dong-Ah and Mu-Yeol for a group hug. Poor Dong-Ah.

Just when they are about to take photos, Su-Young arrives with another guest crashing the party: Jong-Hee. She hugs Mu-Yeol tightly and Eun-Jae tries to pull her away, but she is stopped by Mu-Yeol . ouch. He still cannot believe Jong-Hee is in front of him and she hugs him one more tiem, while Eun-Jae being the spectator, her heart broken into pieces.

Heartbreak!!!! And it hurts >.< I am a shipper of Eun-Jae & Mu-Yeol, so this is normal. Especially when the ex has finally appeared in the story, that is the largest factor that will push the story forward. Maybe after this, the focus will be both on the stalker issue and the loveline. Should I expect some makjang element here? Hopefully not.

Eun-Jae and Mu-Yeol…together, they are a hilarious set of dumb and dumber, or Thug and Retard. I don’t know if it’s just me or everyone feels like this, but when Mu-Yeol calls her “retard”, his tone is almost the same as people use when the call out “honey” though not that sickly sweet tone (yet). I love their characters and I’m looking forward to their romance, but I’m just hoping that their love isn’t an ordinary one, and they don’t change into an extremely ‘lovey-dovey’ couple. I prefer them to stay just like what they are right now.

As for other characters..more past has been revealed, especially Reporter Go’s accident. Writer-nim is definitely doing an excellent job by setting a nice background for each of the character, no matter how small their roles are. In other drama, a reporter might just be a reporter, but here, we even get the story on how Reporter Go stopped his baseball career and ends up being a reporter. A nice way to give the audiences on how things are from his point of view, I myself thinks that he has a reason to do what he did. But in the end, he still knows the differences between right and wrong and ready to admit his mistakes.

There’s high probability that Dong-Ah’s past would also be revealed, as the writer hinted about her being unable to believe in the concept of “tomorrow”. She might have bad experience and lost her family, and to keep herself in her own comfort zone, she lives the life her own way and doesn’t care about what will happen tomorrow. Poor Dong-Ah. Mr Robot, please take care of your Battery!

Nervous Director Kim is hilarious. Because he has such a straight poker face!

Episode 13: Bunny love and how to take care of a man child.

The boys are finally preparing for their debut as they have a photo shoot, but they’re all so awkward (haha). It’s like awkward smiles and poses all around from the boys while the president and the photographer try to guide them. The photographer tells them to smile and he’s liking the minions smiles but not Prince Jung’s. So he has a serious face on instead (hehe).

Hyun Joong is walking around with popcorn, unaware that some girls are staring at him, he smiles shyly when he hears them (hehe). His super hearing picks up something popping and that is when a little girl gives him a bag of Pop Rocks, a type of candy that pops in your mouth. He thanks her and pops some into his mouth, but he wasn’t prepared for the shock of it literally popping in his mouth so he falls. She hands him a balloon and takes a picture. She hands him the polaroid, but he tells her he doesn’t have money. She gestures that he doesn’t need to pay and just take it.

When Hyun Joong gets home, he shows them the polaroid and Soo Hyuk seems to be more fascinated by the balloon (hehe). Prince Jung says first it was the telemarketer and now this person? Hyun Joong is for sure that she is the one this time.

Prince Jung: What kind of girl is she?

Hyun Joong: A bunny.

Prince Jung: What? An animal?!

Hyun Joong tries to explain that the girl is in a bunny mascot outfit, but Prince Jung won’t have it. Just like his heart, the balloon pops.

Yu Bi waves hi to him as he walks dejectedly, but he doesn’t say anything. She asks him what’s wrong and he says he got a present (the balloon), but now it  became deflated. Hyun Joong asks what she thinks of him since before he was considered ugly but here he is considered good looking. Is he good looking? Yu Bi shows a thumbs up which makes him happy since Toki (rabbit) probably thinks so too. He tells the story about the balloon and polaroid and she agrees that Toki probably thinks so. Hyun Joong asks her it’s okay for him to ask Toki on a date. He then asks Yu Bi why she doesn’t speak and she replies  that she just doesn’t. He asks her why and she texts out this huge explanation, but retracts it. She just shows a happy Pucca icon and tells him to do well with Toki. He thanks her and leaves.

Hyun Joong waits for Toki at the same spot with origami rabbits. He hands the gifts to Toki which makes it very happy and in turn he’s happy. Hyun Joong asks Toki out on a date tomorrow, same time as today. Toki thinks about it and nods which makes Hyun Joong super bashful (heeee).

The vampires wake up the next day and the president whisks them off to hair and makeup. They sit in chairs like curious little boys as the stylist do their magic. The minions come out with different hair, but Prince Jung’s is the still the same which makes him confused (haha).

Prince Jung gets dropped off at the company and he wonders where his minions are. The president tells them the three still have some things to do and tells him to go inside first. Prince Jung tries to open the door, but it’s locked which leads him to sit outside in the cold. Min Kyung finds him and the look of happiness on his face is so cute (haha).

She takes him to the Chinese restaurant that she works at and tells him that to stay there while she goes out and delivers some stuff. The owner asks him what he would like in a fake Chinese-Korean accent which Prince Jung doesn’t understand (LOL). Min Kyung introduces the owner as the president of this restaurant. Prince Jung looks at him and asks why he wears a dress when he’s a man (LOL). He even lifts up the owner’s outfit which causes the owner to call him a pervert. Prince Jung still can’t understand what the owner said. Min Kyung explains to the owner that Prince Jung is a foreigner so he’s not familiar with things. Prince Jung even mocks the way the owner speaks like a little kid (haha).

Kwang Hee is giving himself a little pampering when his new manager comes in with a cappuccino. When the manager accidentally spills his coffee, Kwang Hee goes into diva mode and gets mad at him. The manager’s had it with the attitude and he quits though Kwang Hee shouts that he’s fired. He calls up the president and asks him to get him a new manager. The president hangs up and sighs.

Kyow! Do the minions look great with their new ‘do. I guess this means the Santa Claus episode was shot after their transformation in this episode. The minions are posing without their leader as they take pictures with their label mate Girls Girls. Soo Hyuk is paired with Woo Hee and Brunette, Hyun Joong with Yu Bi, and Jong Hyun with Minah (must resist shipping!).

The owner gets mad at Prince Jung for wasting chopsticks by building that huge jenga/castle structure and gets even more mad when Prince Jung mocks his accent. The owner says something which gets even Min Kyung shocked. Min Kyung ends up taking Prince Jung with her on her delivery and he admires her motorcycle which is totally his style. She tells him to stay there and not touch anything. However, he sees a little kid ride a tricycle and gets some ideas….which leads to him crashing her motorcyle.

They decide to go to the jimjibang while they are waiting for her motorcycle to be fixed. She hands him some clothes and she walks away only to turn back when she hears comments from other people. Prince Jung is actually changing right then and there (haha). Later, he walks into a ice room where a kid is shouting that it’s ice cream. Prince Jung tastes the ice and says he doesn’t taste anything, however he keeps sticking his tongue on that thing…this is bad…

The gang is done with the photo shoot and the girls compliment the minions on how cool they look. The minions talk among themselves, still flabbergasted that they are considered good looking. Hyun Joong and Jong Hyun call each other handsome, but to Soo Hyuk, Prince Jung is the handsomest (aww). Jong Hyun says that’s a given and suggest going home since Prince Jung must be bored.

Manager Shin and the president of discussing about how Kwang Hee’s managers don’t last long when the president gets a phone call. It’s from Kwang Hee and the president shouts that he’s looking for one. Manager Shin says with Kwang Hee’s temper and such, it’s difficult to find a person. The president suggests that Manager Shin be Kwang Hee’s manager which motivates Manager Shin to call for people (haha).

Min Kyung gets worried when the mechanic tells her it’ll take a while for the car to be fixed. She then gets a call that surprises her. She goes back to the jimjibang to find Prince Jung’s tongue and face are stuck to the block of ice (haha). The lady complains about Prince Jung and Min Kyung tries to alleviate the issue, but they get kicked out.

Min Kyung has to take her luggage and leave. Prince Jung tells her she’s hungry and she’s not in the mood to play along. She tells him that when he crashed her motorbike, he was sorry so that’s okay, but how could he still behave like this. Prince Jung tells her to calm down and asks what’s wrong. She wonders how could he not understand how this world works even if he did live in Africa. Both her homes are now gone and he asks how could this have happened (ohh…dear). She pushes him and gives up. She doesn’t want to see Prince Jung again and doesn’t want him to follow her.

Sumi walks into her room to see Hyun Joong trying out different clothes, he has a date today but no clothes to wear. Sumi is surprised that he’s going on a date with a human girl since she’s not dinner or anything (something like that). Anyways, Sumi helps him out and lets him wear one of Manager Shin’s suits (I think). The girls look shocked and Minah tries to hold in her laughter. Yu Bi fixes his outfit with a hat, arm warmers, and a handkerchief. In my opinion, it looks kinda weird, more like something you would see in a fashion photo shoot….perfect for the picture…not great in real life. I prefer suits to be suits. But the girls like it  and give him the thumbs up. Hyun Joong thanks Yu Bi and says he’ll tell her all about it when he comes back.

Hyun Joong waits nervously at the spot, but after a while of waiting, he slowly realizes that Toki isn’t coming.

Min Kyung is sitting there feeling glum when Prince Jung rides up in a scooter. He tells her this is hers and if she likes it. She sits down and says it’s pretty nice, but where did he get it? Prince Jung gestures to the street and she quickly gets off in time to confront the angry owner, while Prince Jung hides behind her. Min Kyung tells the owner to calm down and that Prince Jung came from Africa. The Chinese restaurant owner comes out to ask what the problem is which is when Prince Jung shoves him into the owner. He takes Min Kyung and runs.

The girls come back and Yu Bi finds Hyun Joong sitting there depressed. She takes out an envelope and hands it to him, it’s a polaroid of Toki with a caption. The caption says that Toki had something to do so she couldn’t make it, they should go out another time which makes Hyun Joong hopeful and happy. He hands Yu Bi back the hat and thanks her. She tells him that he doesn’t need to thank her since they are friends. He says thanks friend and bids her good night. When she gets to her room, she places her hat in a drawer along side some clothes and a familiar pink origami bunny.

Prince Jung asks her where she’s going to go and she’s not sure, she’ll probably stay in a hostel (?) which surprises him. Meanwhile, the minions are worried since they haven’t seen Prince Jung all day and the president says for sure, he dropped off Prince Jung at the company. Manager Shin explains that at that time, Sumi wasn’t home. Hyun Joong hears someone and they all turn to see Prince Jung walk in.

The president shouts where did he go and Prince Jung shouts back that today he was busy (haha). He tells someone to come in and in comes Min Kyung with her luggage. Manager Shin recognizes her and asks if they ordered food. Min Kyung is bashful, but Prince Jung isn’t. He announced that from here on, Min Kyung will live with them. The president gets angry and throws a slipper at Prince Jung which Soo Hyuk blocks. Soo Hyuk’s ready to attack, but Prince Jung stops him while Manager Shin holds the president back.  The girls are woken up by the ruckus and Kwang Hee barges in, demanding to know where his new manager is. Manager Shin takes this time to announce that his new manager will be Min Kyung!

Yay, finally Min Kyung is now part of the wacky household! I was waiting for this moment since she hasn’t been in every episode, but now we get to see her adorable self hopefully for every episode!

How much do I love that Prince Jung is so easily influenced by children which makes sense since he’s the biggest manchild I’ve seen, excluding 1000 Ways To Die. He’s so fussy, no wonder he has three caretakers though I wonder how he will change or if he will once he realizes he likes Min Kyung.

What will ever happen to our other couples too??? More Soo Hyuk x someone? More bromance? Jong Hyun x Minah? Hyun Joong x Yu Bi? Brunette x gochukjang? haha.

Oh no…it’s time for me to go and do some homework now…depressing life, but here’s some Soo Hyuk eye candy for those fans out there!
